Not very powerful

I cannot hit hard with this racket and it is not easy to speed the ball. It doesn’t matter how hard and fast I swing the racket, but the ball speed doesn’t go beyond certain limit apparently. Racket strength has been good so far.

Too much vibration

Head is one of the better mass-produced brands. The attitude pro and spark tour are basically the same. I have three of these Metallix rackets, and they all have too much vibration. My preteen child was playing unusually poorly, and I realized the vibration was throwing her off. Other than that, the racquets feel good in the hand, and feel light. The graphene is the lightest. The elite blue is metal. The racquets are prestrung kind of tight, perhaps good for beginners. I don't know what to say about suitability for casual use, these are a good value, but the vibration and twist might make them too poor for you.

Great beginner/casual player racket

I am not a tennis pro by any means, but I wanted a racket that would be nice enough to grow with me and that would actually potentially help me get better. Head is a great brand and the price of this racket is awesome (it looks like it fluctuates a bit). It looks sleek and it feels even better. Everyone will have different preferences when it comes to what they look for in a racket and since I'm new to the game, I wanted something that would be good for beginners, but that I'd be able to continue to use as I learned. This is a pretty lightweight racket, which is good for me as I learn. Definitely look up a chart showing you how to measure your grip size, so you know which size to choose. It's very easy to measure at home and can make a bit difference in your play! Purchasing a racket for newbie players can be overwhelming as there are so many options and it can be tough to figure out what they all mean and what you should be using. Do a little research, but also know that a racket like this one is pretty versatile for any beginner and the price point is great!

Good racket for casual players

I'm an amateur weekend tennis player, and I didn't want to put in hours trying to figure out the best tennis racket. I read that Novak Djokovic (#1 in the world) uses a Head tennis racket, so that told me Head wasn't a piece of junk. Head markets this racket to "recreational" players and says it's a "great choice for your first steps on the court," which is just what I was looking for. I like that this model is light (9.7 oz), since medium and heavy rackets are supposed to be for advanced players (not me!). Also, the "sweet spot" is supposed to be big, which again is better for players like me. I estimated my grip size by measuring from the top line on my palm to the tip of my ring finger. This gave me 4⅜", and the racket feels great in my hand in this size. So far, I'm very happy with this racket. If I have any problems with it, I'll update this review by leaving a comment in the comments section.

great Head products

This is a very lightweight racquet (275g) with a great feel and a comfortable, tacky grip. I play recreational league tennis, and have used a Head racquet for years. The neck appears a little thicker and rounder than my old Head. It has a good balance and feel, and lively strings. I am pleased with this order, and Head products are well made.

Great starter tennis racket

Nice light tennis racket, great for kids. It would have been nice if it came with a cover or carrying case. It was a little difficult to pick the right size.

Heads up!

I’m a longtime Head player and recently picked up three of this newer series to update the racquets of my wife and kids. Each has a reasonably sized “head” and is well strung considering the price. The Metallix Spark Tour is a basic racket to learn and appreciate the game. A fine value. Now go out there and play to win!

Excellent Racquet

This is an excellent tennis racquet that has a light feel to it. The handle is just the right size and weight. The racquet swings easily and has a nice sweet spot. Head does a good job with the design of their racquets. Highly recommended.
