Good all around racquet

Normally play with a Head Radical Graphene Pro but wanted a cheap racquet for while I’m overseas to casually dink around with on base. This racquet has filled this role pretty well, not sure how long the stock strings will last for but seem to be wearing quickly. The feel is okay but that could be helped by non-stock strings, power and control seem to be pretty middle ground and for $50 this is a good entry or casual play racquet.

Head is heavy

My son loves it

My 19-year-old son is a casual tennis player and he is loving this racket. He said it is definitely an improvement over his old Babolat, which he had pretty much worn out and managed to scuff up pretty badly over the years. This "Metallix Spark Tour Stealth" from Head is a great choice for him. Since he is a casual player he doesn't feel qualified to judge the racket as far as its precision, but said he does enjoy playing with this one as it feels balance and is comfortable to hold. He was able to beat his friends in a few friendsly games using this racket, despite the fact that he hasn't played much lately and is out of practice. He said when he was able to get a good solid hit in the sweet spot (not often enough for his liking since he is out of practice), the ball felt great bouncing off the strings. He really is enjoying playing with this racket and in fact it is motivating him to play more often. Overall a great racket for my son who is a casual player and doesn't feel like he can judge the racket in too much of a technical sense. But he does love this racket and says it feels balanced and is comfortable to hold. He feels confident when playing with this racket and even was able to win a few games despite being quite rusty.

This is a very head heavy racket

I used this racket for several months and found it was too head heavy. It pulled on my wrist. This is not a beginner racket. Excellent quality.

Light, balanced, comfortable

The Head Metallix racquet is light weight, has great balance and tension. It improved my game quite a bit. I am absolutely an amateur player. I played almost daily as a kid, but have been living in Hawaii for a long time where there are more golfers than tennis players. I picked it up again a couple of years ago but am still feeling pretty rusty. I do feel that this racquet helped a lot with control. I got one for my husband at the same time so that I do not have an unfair advantage. He did not play for years as I has but picked it up quickly. We both played a lot better with the Head racquets. Obviously there is more to the game, but as with anything else, having good tools helps. This is also ideal for our environment. High humidity is not good for anything made of wood and our old racquets would lose tension quickly. I have not had it for a long time but believe it will be a lot easier to maintain than my old wood racquet, and also that we will be playing more because we both enjoyed it more using these racquets.

Get a Head of the competition!!!

Head Metallix Spark Tour Stealth Tennis Racket - Pre-Strung Adult Tennis Racquet for Control My daughter and her boyfriend are really into tennis. I am going to surprise her and her boyfriend with rackets this Christmas. It will be an unexpected, but much loved gift. This beauty is only 9.7 ounces, but a massive 100 square inches. WOAH rackets have come along way since my husband and I used to play. This racket is light as a feather. As a mater of fact, the package it was shipped in was shaped like a large rectangle. I thought it was a photo or something, but it didn’t weight anything, LOL. I will update this review, if I hear back from my daughter and her boyfriend regarding this racket and the other 2 I ordered. TheHead Metallix Attitude Pro White Tennis Racket, as well as theHead Metallix Attitude Elite Blue Tennis Racket. At the time I ordered this racket, it was competitively priced at $80. Great for amateur rec player

My cheap-o entry level racket from the big box store finally gave out on my after many years of diligent service. It was time for me to step up to something that suited my growing game. The Head Metallix Spark Tour Stealth Tennis Racket has been a massive improvement for me. The racket is incredibly light and stiff giving me much more powerful strikes while still offering the forgiveness that I need. For the price I think this a bargain for beginner to intermediate players looking to step up from the inexpensive big box store rackets.
