Exactly what I was hoping for helped me fix one of my inline jets in my pool that broke due to cold weather. Very easy to install but I recommend you also buy small inline adapters to reduce the hole size if you want a faster flow in your pool.

One inch nozzle is the way to go.

The sidewall return on my inground gunite pool directed the return flow toward my steps down in to the pool to keep them clean; however, the nozzle was only 1/2 inch and I kept seeing residue on the steps because the flow was so narrow. I installed this 1 inch nozzle in place of the old one and now my steps are kept clean all the time. I would recommend this 1 inch nozzle for that purpose.

Would have preferred that the Eye was not solid. Replacing one that was movable.

Exactly what I needed for above ground pool

I like the way I am able to adjust the way the water flows in pool so that the water goes around in a circle. The old one that I replaced was not adjustable.

Hayward SP1419E White 1-Inch Opening Reduced my head pressure from a 3/4 inch

I was looking for a little less head pressure while maintaining the ability to control flow direction. This dropped my head pressure ~ 5 PSI. Arrived on time along with the installation tool. Took 3 minutes to remove the old one and install this one.

Dropped my filter pressure by 5 PSI

I recently upgraded from a 3/4" opening to this 1" opening. I didn't think it would make that big of a difference, but the pressure in my filter went from 18 PSI (which is the lowest it's EVER been) to 13 PSI without even bumping the filter. 5 PSI is a huge drop and I can even hear it in my motor because you can tell it's not having to work as hard as it used to.
