I wish I could use
The first one I ordered, I really struggled to unclasp, so I thought it was defective. I returned and seller was quick to replace. However unfortunately the replacement had the same sticky hard to open clasp, so it unusable for me. These figure 8 harnesses are my favorite, and so hard to find so I’m bummed out I couldn’t make this one work. ????

High Quality
These run a little small so you might have to go up a size! The reflective material is great; not seen in; not a plastic piece for dog to try to chew on! Most of all; it fits!! My pup has had 6 other harnesses, all great but she could twist her body right out of them! A dog with small shoulders can slip out of normal harnesses. I started looking for a figure 8 harness in the stores. No one carries them for dogs and only a few for cats. Fiona has not been able to wriggle out of this harness. Plus, adjusting this harness is easy and the adjustments go go to its smallest or largest. If you have had any harnesses you lnow what I am talking about. Thank you for such a great product; I almost gave up hope of finding a great harness! PS, I boughtt the small which was too small so I had to purchase 1 size up. I gave that one to my son for his cat; perfect for him also!

Worked for me, but the cat didn't like it one bit
I bought this for my 12 lb. cat for our drive across country. I worked well/did it's job. She didn't manage to get out of it. But, to be fair, didn't try hard. I had expected a total writhing freak out, which is why I went for figure 8, not other harness types, but really, I think anything would have worked on my little scaredy cat. I didn't leave her alone in it (based on other reviews) to be sure she didn't choke herself. When I first put the harness on her in the days before our trip, she was immediately too scared to function. She wandered around the house sort of cockeyed and slow, then hid under my bed until I took it off of her. Her attempts to get it off looked like she was trying to wiggle out from under it. It was pitiful (and admittedly hilarious) to watch. This didn't get better with time. I think the weight of the plastic clasps was scary on her back and made her feel trapped under something not in something. On the trip across it was useful for making sure she didn't dart away in hotel parking lots or rest stops. But, she hated every minute of it.

Does not have breakaway buckle
I bought this specifically because the description said the closure was a breakaway buckle. Some reviewers said it was not breakaway. I contacted the company before purchase and was told “it is a breakaway harness—the buckle will pull apart under pressure .” Upon receipt of harness, that statement was found to be entirely false. In fact, it was difficult to open buckle manually. Of minor note, there was no bell as stated in description. Do not buy this if breakaway is feature you need. I am returning it and will continue trying to find one that will release for safety reasons.

Definitely not escape proof
I have 2-8 month old boys. They were determined to go outside with the dogs. I bought two harnesses. The white kitty got his leash wrapped on a post and quickly wriggled out. I was not expecting that. We have opted for extended supervised visits in the fenced backyard. That is working out great.

Cute harness, but not for fat cats.
Cute little harness. I ordered a large for my 20 lb meatball of a cat, but it was not big enough. Luckily, it fits my 12 lb cat just fine. The design is good in theory, but not so great in practice. Since it's basically just a figure 8, tightening the chest part will tighten the collar. So if your cat gets weird and slinks around on its belly with a harness on, the chest strap will inch back, tightening the collar like a noose. Then you end up with a limp cat like the ones you see being dragged around on YouTube. Do not drag your cat in this harness or you will have a dead limp cat. I'll be putting a few stitches in so the collar part stays the same circumference. A quick fix for an otherwise decent harness.

Fits my cat
I got the medium sized harness and it fits both of my cats. They are both about 11 pounds. My one cat is fatter than the other because my other cat has more muscle. I tried it on both cats and neither cat was able to escape from this harness. I have tried kitty holster before and my one cat got scared and backed out of that like a tshirt. My only problem is I wish the place where you attach the leash isn't behind the cat between their shoulder blades. My one cat gets freaked out sometimes when the leash is right behind his head, so I haven't gotten to the stage where I can walk him yet. My other cat just hates this thing and refuse to move at all.

Great Harness For Wiggly Kitties
I was a bit uncertain about buying this but I'm glad I did. My cat, Loki, loves harnesses as much as he hates collars. He breaks every collar I get him within 48 hours. He likes his harnesses but if he freaks out he has always managed to wiggle out of them. When his two-year-old harness was finally worn to shreds, I found this one. I saw several reviews that stated this harness was "wiggle proof" and decided to try it. This harness is as close to wiggle proof I have ever seen. I would say entirely wiggle proof, but Loki did manage to get one shoulder out of the harness (once). As per usual, the harness was difficult to get on him since Loki turns into a wiggle worm whenever I try to put a harness on him. But after I got it on him and tightened it everything was fine. Since then, Loki has been able to play in the snow, go to the pet food store, and explore the yard. This harness is worth the price.

Designed by someone that doesn't like cats !
NOT suitable for cats. This will easily strangle a cat if it gets caught on anything.
