It's a great product but it's too big and heavy for our show lambs. Would be great for adult sheep.

Very attractive and well-made.
Very sturdy and well-made. Heavy brass buckles. Good range of size adjustability. I'd say it would fit a 6-week old lamb all the way through adulthood if you kept adjusting the buckles. Our 6-week old lamb can wear it on the smallest settings, but it's quite big on him. They grow so fast though, it's nice to have options. Note: This version has the permanently attached lead which automatically tightens around the chin if the animal pulls. This company also makes a sheep halter that is the halter only. On that version, the chin strap has a buckle rather than the slip-through tightening lead, and ten you clip on your own lead rope. Just depends on which style you prefer.

These halters are very good for a sheep project. they are soft and strong and stay on the animal. our lambs did not fight the halter at all.

It Works
After a week of struggling with a cantankerous ram who eventually realised that ‘resistance was futile’ I now have a ram who walks calmly at my side. And the purple colour looks very smart on a black sheep!
