Solid Metal Construction - Perfect replacement but pricey

Purchased these for a repainting project as the original enclosures had been painted to match the previous color of ceiling paint. Twenty plus years from the original install and these were exact replacements with same high quality construction of the originals. Pricey but solved the problem of dingy yellow enclosures on a new bright-white ceiling

Good value.

This is a good quality trim. The tilt feature and rotation feature are tight. I found making adjustments required me to take the trim down in order to manipulate the angle. Make sure the small envelope with the round tempered glass accompanies your product. I had ordered a half-dozen of these trims. The manufacturer bags the trim and the envelope together but does not seal the bag. They get thrown into the Amazon totes, and when they eventually get pulled to fulfill an order, the envelope can fall out.

updated look

Used these to replace the trim on my existing lamps. Very hard to find and not available at any of the hardware stores. Even purchased new lamps for their trim, which were smaller than these. Finally found these to replace the yellow'd trim on my built in lamps without having to replace the whole light.
