I love this leash! I’m now using it as a back-up second leash on the collar, another on head halter.
We now have three hands-free leashes. Between buying two of these, I bought another highly-rated one for my husband that had some padded handles and a bungee. I don’t think it’s as attractive as this one, and this one works well for me. My husband found out he just doesn’t like any hands-free leashes! I bought another as I forgot to bring mine on an extended period out of town. I’m actually using it as a back-up leash here as our gentle leader sometimes comes off and it’s a great safety measure to make sure my dog doesn’t get totally loose.

Good leash, but a few quirks.
With two young children, I was very excited to get a hands free leash for my dog. He is an 80-pound black lab and is fairly well behaved, but does pull a little. After a bit of research, I settled on this leash and I am glad that I did. It is definitely a quality leash. All of the attachments are metal and I know that it will last for a long time. Also, I love how the leash can adjust length. What a great idea! It will be perfect for running or taking walks with the dog. HOWEVER, I will say a couple of quirks that it has as an FYI. First of all, it makes a funny noise while you are walking if the dog is pulling at all. It is the leash rubbing against the metal and if you were in a quiet environment, I think it would also be annoying. If you are sensitive to sound and your dog pulls a lot, I might look for a different leash... Second, it says to push the leash off to one side. I would definitely urge against this. I had it on one hip for about a half mile and my hip started throbbing. I would urge you to keep it in the middle of your body so that the dog does not pull on one side or the other. It is ergonomically a bad idea to have it off to one side. My hip hurt for quite a bit after that half of a mile... Also, if you don't get the Velcro attached quite right, it can attach to a sweater or clothing that you are wearing other than cotton. Obviously, this would not be an issue if you are wearing running clothes, but could be if you are using it for daily walks. If you can overlook these minor quirks, I would say go for it! It is a great leash that I would recommend.

Great price for an amazing product
This is an excellent leash and harness system. After several months of trying most of the hands-free leashes out there, including some of the more expensive ones, I had to go back to this system. The whole thing is very well made with sturdy materials. I was hesitant about the velcro closure (versus a buckle one) at first, but it has held up very well. The trick is to adjust the harness so that when you close the velcro part, you use the entire strip of velcro. One time during a rest break, my dog lunged after a squirrel, and I didn't hear the dreaded ripping sound of the velcro at all. She is a strong sled dog that has broken through some of the other velcro based harnesses. I also like that the leash itself is adjustable. Towards the end of our runs, my dog tends to slow down her pace and the leash slackens. Being able to adjust it so that it is not flailing around makes it much more comfortable for both of us. My dog tends to run in front of me (those sled dogs...) but sometimes she will run beside me and the harness swivels with her without me missing a step. Some of the other systems have designated front and side clips but this turned out to be a disadvantage for the way we run, and those harnesses are bulky and don't swivel well. I like that with this system, I don't have to stop, unclip, and then reclip in the middle of my run. Although this system lacks the frills of some of the other leashes out there (pockets, water bottle holder...etc), I ended up just getting a running pack to hold my phone, keys, and doggy bags and with the pack+this leash, it was still much cheaper than the other hands free systems. I would highly recommend this leash to runners looking to share the running experience with their favorite 4-legged buddy!

Great hands free leash
I bought this as a temporary solution so I could walk my dogs after I had surgery where I wasn't allowed to use my arms much. I ended up really liking it and kept using it because it allows me to have my hands free while training my dogs and giving them treats. It's great for running, too. It has held up well and I have not had any issues with the Velcro strength with my 55 lb dog.

Great product but…
The product is of good sturdy quality. The only reason I did not rate this product a 5 star was the leash was too short to walk my small dogs. Add another foot for smaller dogs.

Training tool
This hands free leash is a great training tool for loose lease walking. It allows my dog to self correct. It's also a more comfortable walk for me. I'm no longer having my arm being pulled as we walk.

Good Product poor manufacturer support
I love this product it is well manufactured and is perfect for going on runs with my dog, We have ran over 80 miles on it, and out of the blue 2 rabbits crossed our path and my dog lunged after them. the metal adjustment clip broke which causes the lead to go to full length with the slightest amount of tension. the long length isn't good for running but is still working good for walks. I would have given the product 5 stars but upon e-mail to the manufacturer from their website asking about purchasing a replacement lead they have not responded within a weeks time. The product is good but don't expect the manufacturer to respond to you or stand behind the product if there is a problem. I purchased a coupler that is fixed at the length I need (from a different company), and will keep the longer lead for walks. I do highly recommend the product and from looking at the pictures of what is available this looks like the best value as it is all metal construction. I would purchase another one of these. it is just sad to see that there is no manufacturer support for this product. I'm sure this is true of other pet safe products. buyer beware.

Velcro isn’t strong enough
I love this leash in theory and have used it for several months now with my boxer. My dog is reactive around other dogs and we are currently working through this with training, so when we are around other dogs I usually hold on to the leash because I don’t trust the Velcro to hold. Unfortunately twice now in the last 2 weeks we have been “ambushed” by large dogs who show agression and both times my dog was able to pull so quickly and at the right angle that the Velcro came undone. Thankfully both times nothing terrible happened, but this could have led to terrible outcomes. I can’t take the chance and use this anymore so it is worthless to me.

Great product BUT waist size is way too big
I am a 5'7" and 125lb female and the belt is simply too big for me to fit snugly and I have to find someone to cut and re-stitch for me. I am not even petite!!

clasp broke
It's a hands free leash, so very convenient. However, the clasp on the leash broke off within 2 weeks. Also, the leash needs to be more adjustable for shorter people; ideally, if the leash is attached at the back of the waist portion the dog cannot step too far in front and be tripped over.

Excellent hands free lead
Lead is long and independent of size that you set the waist belt. Seems durable and the lead can be removed or swapped out if required. I like the fact they are not using a bungee in the lead.

Leash is very well made and the perfect length for my dog to run or walk comfortably ...
Leash is very well made and the perfect length for my dog to run or walk comfortably beside me! The velcro, leash and hardware are very strong and I know I will get a ton of use out of this leash. Only complaint - I'm a fairly petite person (waist 24" / 25") and the belt doesn't fit snug at the smallest fit.
