Perfect

I searched everywhere locally to find this dang seal with no luck. Fits and works as expected. I will say for anyone needing to replace your seal, it’s hard to get it on and attached, use a little more force than you think and from all my Google searches, adding some Vaseline helps the initial seal.

OEM Kohler Part

I have an old expensive model Kohler Toilet and parts are both expensive and hard to find but Amazon makes it easy to find what you need at a more reasonably price.

Make sure both sides of gasket are lubricated. I used a silicone lubricant as not to damage gasket.

It is the correct gasket for the Santa Rosa toilet. It will take a fair amount of pressure to compress gasket. I would remove the guide (black plastic pole) used for the cylindrical tube before install. Reinstall after base is attached to tank.

Stopped my leak

This stopped my leak. Installing it wasn’t hard but cleaning out the tank on my Rosario toilet is a pain because of the way it’s designed. I wasn’t able to do a through job of getting all the water out and that’s why I expect this gasket to fail in about 20 months like the last one. It’s not exactly a fault of the gasket itself but an issue with the way the overall system was designed. Once the tank gets contaminated, it’s really hard to clean it out with the toilet in place.

Great product

Seal works perfect, just make sure you have a clean surface. Previous owner had silicon around where the seal belongs which is no good for a new seal. Surface should be clean & clear of any product and the seal works perfect.

Works for the Koehler Santa Rosa

This is the gasket for the one piece Santa Rosa Koehler toilet. I kept trying to turn it clockwise to tighten and it would not seat properly. I turned it counter clockwise (to the left) and it went right into place. Works great!

This was just the part I needed... Easy install on my toilet...

On my toilet it took a good (but not huge) amount of downward force on the main unit with the new gasket in place to be able to twist the unit the necessary 60 degrees; once I applied enough force, the unit twisted pretty easily. FWIW, this gasket has a partially beveled edge, rather than a similar Kohler gasket that is straight cylindrical; and my old gasket was green coloured (at least when I replaced it...).

Fits the Kohler Cabernet toilet.

It's the only place I could purchase this gasket without buying the flush valve as well. It's a bit difficult to install but I put vaseline on the flush valve and under the little triangles and to the underside of the opening. I otherwise couldn't turn it. I did have to remove and add silicone under the gasket because my toilet still lost a bit of water and I'd changed the water intake valve as well. I'd certainly buy from this seller again. I had the part within one week of ordering and was an original Kohler part not a knockoff. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there were no installation instructions/tips at all or else they would have gotten 5 stars.

A replacement for Kohler toilets

It fits. You need to be careful not to rip or tear the product. It takes a lot of downward force to install the gasket.
