Not much negative to say
This rope has been very durable and continues to be, now going into its 5th season. Not much fraying or shedding like some of the other life lines I have. Only near the top where I consistently lock the rope grab, is it looking slightly worn. The color certainly has faded but the structure of the rope is still there and I'm confident enough to put my life on the line, so to speak. One slight disappointment is the use of a plastic loop eye for the snap hook. It certainly lightens the overall weight of the rope a bit, but I'm purest who loves everything slightly overbuilt. I assume they've done the testing to find the plastic will wear as long as the rope does. The important part is covered, the rope works and that's all that really matters, ultimately.

Awesome product!!!!!
I ended up at my sons Tallahassee home immediately following hurricane Michael. I had taken my safety gear, ladders, chainsaws and everything I thought I would need. During the clean up I was forced by circumstance to use this rope for a winch line. I figured worst case scenario, I would break it and end up looking for something else to use. Not only did it work for us....we ended up destroying a 4 ton come-a-long and still not breaking it. Heck of a rope. I retired this one and will order another just like it.

When you need the extra length, this is a good choice.
At first blush, this would seem to be kinda pricey. I spent most of a day on a metal standing seam roof a while back with the ground a long way down. With this 100 ft extension and the Fall Protection harness kit things went smoothly. The extra length allowed me to do a tie off way on the other side of the house to a vehicle. Rope has plenty of strength and a strong quick release clip.

Roof safety is very important!
When you are thinking about going up on your roof... Stop and think for a second! You have to have yourself safe! Guardian is my brand of choice! My advise is to buy the roof safety kit bucket. It comes with everything you need. I bought this 25 foot of rope to extend the length of my 50 foot rope that came with my kit. The poly steel rope is the best in the business. Poly dac rope is great too. What ever you need go with Guardian!

When safety really matters....
I purchased the Guardian Fall Protection kit at a local hardware store but the 50' rope that came with it was a bit short. This rope worked perfectly with the positioning device that came with the BOS-T50 (Guardian Fall Protection - Bucket of Safe). I felt very comfortable working on the roof knowing I was securely attached. I gave the product 5 Stars as it is well described and works exactly as advertised. I highly recommend folks invest in a harness system if you'll be working on a roof.

The photo looks as if there is an eye in ...
The photo looks as if there is an eye in the bitter end. A closer look shows that it is not an eye, just the rope folded over. Then bitter end is not finished, it unravels.

Nice safety rope
Have 6 of these and they take the abuse of roof tear offs way better than the white one. And there is no strecth when they are wet like the whites ones

Exactly what I expected
Bought it to use it on installing a pump-jack system on a 3 story house to replace windows / siding... Exactly what I was looking for, a great product, and very clearly defined.
