Fast shipment (one day), easy to replace, did not solve the issue but I'm still happy with it (read on to learn why)
Easy to replace, but it did not solve the problem (that is water still running on for 5-8 seconds instead of instantly being cut off). Mainly I was an idiot and did not figure it out from the first try. In my case the issue was that "Refrigerator Water Tank Assembly" (something like WR17X10504) which is behind the fresh produce in the main compartment was hanging on a piece of plastic that snapped and instead of being perfectly horizontal (generating "NNN" like shape) was like 45 degrees and still keeping air into the system. Air in the system means exactly the problem I had. The only other possible way is that the valve was damaged (not the solenoid that commands the valve but the valve itself - looking at the valve assembly mine was made in the last year of previous millennium). Needless to say that "air in the system" was triggered by the same guy who changed the water filter. Cut a piece of strap from the garage created a small hook and hanged back the tank horizontally and the problem was solved. Hope it helps.

Quality Is not good
Product is really expensive and although it says original parts the quality looks cheap. So my stars is based on the price point.

Fixed leak at valve
Original valve developed a leak at the hose attachment. Ordered this new valve at good price and got fast delivery. Installed new valve after viewing valve replacement video on YouTube. Problem solved.

NO ice
After all the time & trouble to install it does not make ice. Guess I will just wait for the refrigerator to die & buy a new frig.

It works like a new one again no more ice overflow no more having to clean the ice tray out every week

Works great!
This thing was a direct replacement. Just look up instructions on YouTube and follow along and you're all set. Refrigerator is as good as new!

Works great for repairs!
Makes it less expensive to do your own repairs. Solenoid seems to last 10 years.
