Grohe Shower Bar Set Easy to Install and Use

The shower bar is easy to install if you have a good ceramic drill bit that can drill through porcelain tile. Nice finish although some of the trim is made out of plastic which conjured about doubts on its durability and ease of cleaning soap or water marks. I had to replace the cheap looking plastic hose with a Grohe Reflexaflex Metallic hose which didnt twist or loop, it gave a better matching chrome and streamlined appearance. Id give this product a 5 star if it wasnt for the hose and plastic chrome trim.

Nice for retrofitting outdated shower heads

In contrast to other reviews, I find this to be of great quality and super easy to install - all it needs are two drill holes and dry wall anchors + screws (triple grips worked fine with just longer screws). It can tilt both vertically and horizontally by adjusting the knob. Excellent choice for nice looks and built quality!

Had to return

Slide holder will not secure shower head. Hose ends will not screw onto existing piping (from wall). Did not work for me

Didn’t realize it was that more plasticy feel

It worked as advertised…. Its just that i did not do my research…. Its not steel… its ALL plastic…including the hose… I’ll eventually change it out.

The shower handle does NOT rotate

Heads up, the show handle does not rotate, only slides up and down. I would not have bought if I had known, but I installed it anyway as I needed it right away.

Mainly cheap plastic

Showerhead: works, lightweight. Rail: Metal rail with plastic wall holders and plastic shower head holder. Hose: Terrible - could be a hard garden hose sprayed silver, is not supple. Hose is the worst. the rest is just cheaply made. This will not age well.
