Gorgeous Faucet
I spent a lot of time deciding on a faucet for a remodeled bathroom. I finally decided on Grohe Eurocube. This faucet exceeded my expectations and definitely makes a statement. It will transform any bathroom from average to elegant.

little piece called "nut " came defective, faucet cannot be installed
Nice faucet arrived, scheduled the plumber to install; finding a small piece called " nut" is defective. The faucet cannot be installed. Called customer service, they say they can send me a hopefully working piece, in a few days. Meanwhile, the plumber needs to be paid today for the trip, and then again next time when we hope to have everything needed. I am talking about a couple of hundred dollars spent on the plumber trips only. Asked the customer service how they can make this acceptable to me, the response was : "we do not deal with plumbing issues". THIS IS NOT A PLUMBING ISSUE, IT IS A DEFECTIVE PART THAT WAS SENT WITH THE NEW FAUCET. Tried to speak to a supervisor , not available. Left my number for them to call, will update my review if anything happens . Meanwhile, do not buy!

Excellent Grohe finish and good smooth functionality for a Single-Hole
I have both this one and the 3 hole Eurocube. If you have a single hole bathroom or are remodeling to a single hole, this is an excellent fixture. If you have used Grohe before, you know how good of a finish they have. I mean obviously Kohler, Moen, Delta and some other Americans are also pretty good but nothing compares to the Chrome finish of Grohe and Hans Grohe. Everything needed was included in the box, all pieces were metal and no cheap plastic part was there like some other fixtures these days. You literally don't need anything extra to install these other than the hole in the granite lol (see below though about the drain) It looks very modern, we remodeled the whole bathrooms and kitchens with new modern fixtures so for us these worked very well. Not a big fan of the square shaped opening in the middle of the handle, makes cleaning and water splash marks a headache, but it does look very nice and modern. If you have installed Grohe before, and the bathroom is ready, the installation shouldn't take more than 30min from you. However, it should be noted that (like some other Grohe bathroom fixtures) depending on your drain location in the sink, you might get into a little bit of trouble and end up getting a different drain assembly. It includes a ball rod that mounts to the faucet as usual but it is relatively small and is long enough if your drain is close to the top of the sink and mirror, if the drain is more toward the middle of the sink, the drain assembly might be short. This is about the only downside about this fixture, I guess most European sinks are smaller than ours and their drains are closer to the fixture. Functionality is great. Pressure is good and the transition between hot and cold and back is very smooth and fast. No sudden change in temperature and no big splash if opened fast and suddenly. Might be silly to repeat but remember this is a Single-Hole fixture. I have heard that some people think a single hole (single lever or handle) fixture for a bathroom is a weird idea and gives them headache in the bathroom. I guess it takes some getting used too, since most people only have seen and used single levers in the kitchen and most bathrooms have 2 handles. However, once you get used to it, it's pretty easy and comfortable. The advantage is by having one faucet, you have less Chrome to clean in the bathroom! Less working cleaning the water marks and splashes from your faucets. Overall a very nice and modern looking fixture with typical excellent Grohe finish that would last you a long time if installed correctly. Something that I'd like to add in the end is that like any other Chrome finish fixture, you have to clean your fixture a few times a week not to leave water on it. Even if you have water softener at home, when water dries on a fixture, it leaves marks over time that affects the finish of the fixture no matter how good.

it's magnificant!
oh gosh - as with most of my reviews, i'm here with a story of soemthing i desperately needed to replace. i hated the faucet i chose for my vanity when i installed it. hated it. i didnt know i could hate a faucet so much. oddly it looked almost exactly the same but it did not act the same - it had a flat line exit for the water and it absolutely refused give any water pressure that worthwhile - i'm all for conservation, but not at the expense of being able to wash my face in a normal manner. the faucet on this beautiful beast .... round exit for the water, and wonderful water pressure. it's a taller faucet, for a raised basin. this one was a perfect fit for my raised sink. it's extremely easy to install! remove the old and clean up any caulk that might have been left behind. the instructions are all photos but it pretty much makes sense. the main this is ensuring you attach two pieces to the bottom before setting it in the faucet hole. then you attach the bottom stabilizer, and use the screw to finish it all up. one person can do it, but it's helpful to have two so that the faucet can be held in place while you ensure the screw is the tightest. one thing is that the hoses are not labeled, so you have to ensure they stay correctly placed you attach the cold to the cold and the hot to hot. honestly it was easier to install that it was to take out the one from before. it does not come with a stopper so keep the one you've got, or order another. thankfully it matches the one i had - so i am finally good all around!! yes - it's expensive, quality tends to be. i chose my last one because it fit the needs at the lowest price point, now i know why.

Missing pieces, prices are rising!
Love the faucet. This is the 3rd one I've purchased for my home. I was wanting to buy another one, however the price went up over $100 in the last few months since I purchased the last one, so I unfortunately will not be buying another. The last one I ordered came with a part missing for installation, so we had to go to a hardware store to get another piece that worked.
