Good but Stiff Leather grip
No issue with installation, the double sided adhesive worked and the grip installed fine. This leather grip feels more a thick and stiff, not slick but smooth texture not soft and cushioning. If you prefer a soft feeling grip then you will need to cover with an over-grip. I expect this to be a very durable grip.

This grip is exactly as advertised but this statement comes with a caveat. Leather grips tend to be slightly heavier than non-leather grips. I use the Wilson Pro Staff non-Federer signature racket, which is 1 ounce lighter than the Fed signature model. My racket came with the leather grip but having worn through that, I used the Gamma. I found that the balance of the racket was slightly off with the Gamma. This slight deviation was enough to produce some elbow issues. I switched to a Volkl non-leather grip and the elbow issues instantly disappeared. This problem may or may not have anything to do with the Gamma grip, but I report it in case it may.

Quality grip, but heavy and thick
Let me first say this grip is quality and nothing was wrong with it. But....it is much, much different than standard grips. This completely changed the balance of my racket and made it harder to swing. Im a 4.5 player and decided to give this leather a shot. Ive hit with old school wilsons with a leather grip and liked it. This grip is not made for modern rackets imo. Its thick, heavy and rather smooth. If you like old school feel, and play a control game, this is for you. If youre a big swinger who likes hitting with top spin and whipping the racket, this is not for you. Just my opinion. But i can safely and accurately say this grip will 100% change the weight balance of your racket.

Nice grip great price
This grip adds a nice cushioning, feel, and weight (installed on an old Wilson 7.3 Titanium 95 thin beamed). The shape of the base and this grip matched up pretty well (not made for, but a universal fit). The ridge at the butt cap was not a major issue (if you do your own overgrips you know what I am talking about). However, I just got an MXG 5 and the ridge shape is a major issue. There is a roundness to it that curves away from the attachment of this "universal" grip application. The density of the grip buckles under the second wrap just above this as well. You should check your current grip shape prior to ordering.

Good grip, stained with sweat!
Loved the look, love the grip it added, not a huge fan of the sweat stains however. But it goes on easy and stays in place providing much increased grip. My racket had been spinning in my hand....no more and initially the leather look was fantastic but now it looks like most of my exercise equipment stained with shame and sweat! Bobdole approves this product though. At least I havent "accidentally" thtown my racket now!

leather is better
i have been playing since i was 7yo. i have always played with leather grips. i returned to tennis after a long break and bought a second racket - it had synthetic grip. so i found this leather grip on amazon.com and bought 3. it is very good. works well in the middle of the summer (heat, humidity) and in the middle of winter. no slippery holds. ages well. i bought a third racket. and now have since replaced all of the synthetic grips with this leather grip. easy to wrap. not sold in most stores. told my teammates. 3/4 of them bought this grip, and now they are hitting a little more solid.... wait. um...whoops... oh weeeell. lol.

It works as described
I have used Fairway leather grips for as long as I've been playing tennis and thought I would try something that cost less... And to my surprise this grip stood up to the demand more than I expected. I will be using this grip for all my play this tennis season...

Thinking outside of the box, wanted to try this on the handlebars of the motorcycle. Works as well on the handlebars as I would think they would work on a tennis racket. Would consider using them again.

Least expensive leather grip around (at the time of writing)
At writing time, this seems to be the cheapest leather replacement grip available, which is why it gets 5 stars from me. It's nice and firm and works well for me with an overgrip. I don't/can't play with bare leather, so I won't comment on the quality of the leather itself, though it doesn't seem like the best I've seen. If you play bare leather, the slightly more expensive Tourna seems like it has a nicer feel. As a base under an overgrip, this works perfectly for me. Edit: since the time of writing, the price has gone up quite a bit. Would I pay more for this one instead of any other brand? No, but at comparable price points it's a comparable product.

Needs larger backing tape!!
Really not very sticky.. only sticky right down the middle so did struggle quite a lot with getting the sides to stick down firmly.

Really nice quality leather.
Good quality Leather wraps and thicker then expected, again, really nice quality leather. The adhesive could be better, Or maybe I'm just picky about Adhesives. You'll likely need to apply your own adhesive, especially if you're using this for purposes outside of wrapping tennis rackets. When cutting the leather I could really tell how nice it is, pretty dense and tough with a consistent grain.

This was a great grip on my countervail pro staff 97 at first in package I didn’t like the colour looked kinda light but once I installed it it looks sharp
