Perfect for RV ovens!
Anyone that has an RV and use the oven, you know that the single burner down the middle is less than effective - over-cooking what’s directly above the burner while under-cooking what’s further out from the burner. Layer the tiles right above the burner and it evenly distributed the heat making the oven operated like a standard oven in your home. This concept can also work with other gas ovens or even gas grills to better distribute the heat. I highly recommend if you have an RV or experience the issue mentioned above!

They work well, but too many broken ones
Ten of thirty tiles were broken, some in multiple pieces, even though the box was tightly packed. This level of fallout is unacceptable. I will not be returning them. It seems pointless to ask for a replacement. No doubt there will still be many broken ones in the replacement. I do intend to contact the manufacturer to see if they may replace the broken ones. I have used these tiles for many years. Eventually they disintegrate and need to be replaced. That's the reason for this purchase. Twenty were intact. Some of the broken ones can be used. After I ordered these I found packs of 45 for just a few dollars more than this box of 30.

poorly packed
So, this is a fine product. Nice neat little briquettes that look and work just fine. But, they come stacked tightly together in a small box with little or no protective packaging. Amazon didn't help much with their packaging either... So, about one third of mine were broken when I got em. C'mon people, it ain't rocket science, if you have a fragile product, package it properly.

They work just fine.Had a lot of cracked ones in the box. Can't use the bad ones 11 of 30 bad. That's why I got a 45 box also. The 45 box was a clearance open package it had several cracked ones also but I expected those being a package problem. That's why I ordered the 30 also

As I had read the reviews beforehand, I expected there to be some "broken" briquettes - I wasn't disappointed - there were approx. 4 that didn't survive the trip. I ordered two sets - 210 & 315 inch square. There were broken ones in both sets - so now I have approx. 15 left briquettes left over.

Working well
Used to replace 7 year old briquettes. The size worked out well with my grill but I needed two packages. None broke during shipping but one broke during installation.

Packaging is rubbish, expect breakages
Product looks OK for the purpose described however, I didn't get the opportunity to try them. Delivery to UK was fast and efficient BUT, 16 of the 30 tiles were broken. Goods returned.

good briquettes
I was a bit skeptical of ordering this item when I read reviews of other people complaining about receiving broken briquettes. When I received my package to my surprise all 30 briquettes were whole. Not a single briquette was broken. I have only used the grill once after this item and they worked as advertised. They are a bit pricier than the ones I was previously using. I hope they last me longer than my last one from other company.

Top layer and bottom layer tiles were broken
It looked like it was wrapped well however upon opening both the top briquettes and bottom layer were cracked. The tiles were much smaller than anticipated about 1 x 2 " each so it will take many to cover the grill. I will use them however the broken ones are too small to use.

It’s what I needed
Replaced the old bricks in our cuisinart bbq with these after making a rack to carry them. Very pleased with the results! Evened out the heat across the whole grill. Also helps reduce the flair-ups

Arrived quickly and the item was as described.
Good product. Helps to distribute heat much more evenly to the cooking grate (grill did not previously have ceramic tiles to distribute heat.
