Excellent Warranty
Propane 2-in-1 Grill Stove: I used the cook top side of the stove during my first camping trip and only half of the burner value would light on the second night after a pot boiled over. The burner completely failed to ignite after the 3rd evening. When I attempted a thorough cleaning, I discovered this model cannot be opened to remove any spill-over residue. I contacted Coleman directly for help. After explaining the situation, I was pleasantly surprised after being told that the stove was fully covered by the 3-year warranty and that a replacement stove would be shipped at no charge. Thank you Coleman for your excellent customer service and assistance! Other than this inconvenience, this model was perfect for heating side dishes while grilling our steaks, burgers, and fish during our trip. In the future I now know to completely cover the bottom of the burners with foil to prevent any spill-over from entering the drain holes. Also, the burner cannot be adjusted to a low ‘simmer’ setting, so use a taller pot when making hot coco.

Important - Coleman Gas Camping Grill/Stove
IMPORTANT please read - 12-18-2022 Update - It's accurate about the thin aluminum grate warping during use. Pictured is another per-camping test with a heavy GSI 36 cup percolator coffee pot. Burner output is great, but it took about 30 minutes in 40 degree F ambient temp to come to a boil. After the stove cooled, I noticed that the grill grate had drawn (bowed into the burner) about 1/8" in the center. Don't know if it was due to constant high heat, weight, or both. End result is that this cooling grate should be a thicker cast iron... A fantastic portable propane stove + grill, but now I know why a solid griddle is not offered. The grilling burner needs air / ventilation to properly/ safely operate (see photos). Using anything larger than a 9" Lodge cast iron pan will create a combustion air deficit, resulting in propane flames collecting in the grilling pit area and coming up beyond the stove around the 10-1/2" X 10-10-1/2" Lodge reversable grilling pan and Lodge 12" solid griddle. See photos. This is not a manufacturer defect or error, but it is a different setup compared to standard home gas stoves where the burners have plenty of ventilation with the raised grates to the stove top surface. I just did the physical tests. Have no regrets about the purchase and look forward to years of use

A good compromise between a propane stove and a small grill
When mine arrived the gas control knobs were very stiff and kept flipping back to a higher setting. With the gas not connected, I turned the knobs back and forth many times till they loosened up. The gas control knobs are still pretty sensitive, but you can get a low setting if you are careful. I cooked two hamburger patties on the grill, but since it has no cover, I had to rotate the patties plus flipping them to cook them evenly without burning them. The grill is not big but should be OK for cooking 6 hamburger patties. I ran mine with a one pound propane tank and with a 20 LB propane tank (using a Colman adaptor) and it worked fine either way. Make sure you read the directions and cautions.

Perfect compromise for van camping.
Sure I love my Weber grill and I've had the deluxe 2 burner Coleman for years, but when we decided to swap the big rv for a van I had to find smaller alternatives. So far, 5 weeks into a 3 month x-country trip this little grill/stove has exceeded my expectations. Not sure why so many folks are melting the grill, but assume they are putting pans on it. Don't do it, it's aluminum! But grilling for two it's great. Have done burgers, ribeyes, chicken and BBQ pork with excellent results. Side burner is big enuf for a stockpot or frying pan for the veggies. A keeper!

Good stove
Used this at about 10,000 feet and it worked flawlessly. Altitude didn’t seem to hinder its performance whatsoever. I absolutely love the two burner system, I can cook breakfast in my 10 inch cast iron skillet on one side and have a percolator of coffee going on the other burner. It’s a great bade camp stove for back country hunting.

Nice addition to camping gear
The stove works great, cooked pasta, Steaks, etc. Easy to set up and use. Only problem is that the catch that is supposed to close the stove does not line up so doesn't work. I have to tie a strap around the stove to keep it closed when not in use

Decent stove/grill
Used it first time this past weekend… works well. The grill is easy to clean and the basin under the grill is also easy to clean up after use. The burner works well to boil water. Only issue I had is that the control valves go from ‘barely there’ to ‘full blast!!!’ In the first quarter of the range. Everything beyond that is just full blast. Temperature control is very tricky with this unit. But it gets the job done.

We already own one and love it, bought this one for my son and his family
My son was in the middle of a multi day power failure due to the weather. He has a lovely home with nice appliances and a very nice big barbecue. The catch was his generator hooked to his power panel was adequate but not for the high draw boiling and cooking appliances, and his bbq was on the deck in a blizzard. I decided before this happened again, and it will, I'd get him a camp stove, I know this one is well made, reliable, has a grill and a separate element for boiling or frying. He can use this in his garage with the doors partial opened and make a decent meal and hot drink, and clean up is easy. We'd tested this camp stove traveling in our RV and it was perfect for quick meals without taking up much space and knew it would be perfect for him

Fantastic grill/stove
For a multi-purpose propane stove, this does a fantastic job. There are a couple of caveats, though: While the grill area is a good size, you have to be careful with how well you have the grease trap inserted into the brackets below the unit, or you might get gunk all over. Also, the pot/pan burner is very good, but it's very close to the left-hand wind panel, so for larger pots or pans you'll have to detach it from the lid and lay it down. That said, it's easy to use, decently easy to clean up, versatile to cook on, and collapses down for carrying fairly well. If I could make one recommendation to Coleman to improve - put a clip (maybe on the inside of the lid) to attach the propane stem for storage and carrying. The unit ships with the stem under the grill, and it makes a hell of a racket when you carry it around like that.

Exelente producto.
The media could not be loaded. Exelente para acampar la probé y sin ningun problema, claro con todas las medidas de seguridad. Pd: la carne la queme porque era la primera vez que la usaba y quería curar la parrilla

Starter doesn’t work
Bought this one specifically for the auto start button and it doesn’t even work. We have to light with a lighter. Should have just got the cheaper one…
