It does the job I need it for!
The first one I bought was in the fall and I only used it long enough to see that it would do what I wanted it to do in the summer. When I first used it in the summer it ran until the batteries died. I recharged them and tried to start the machine up the next day and it wouldn’t start. The company ran me through the trouble shooting steps and still no motor. So they replaced it and didn’t require me to ship the old one back and they didn’t have a mower without a battery charger and two new batteries. So I have four batteries and two chargers. I recommend purchasing a second charger and two batteries as this won’t run as long as a gas mower without changing the batteries out. It’s easier than buying fuel and filling a tank periodically. I use it to cut weeds as there is no grass yet in our back yard under big native trees. It has the power to cut tall weeds. It does tend to knock tall weeds down with the front of the mower just like a gas mower would, so sometimes I have to go at taller weeds twice. It doesn’t cut as cleanly as a gas mower, probably because of lower RPMs but my gas mower was a pain in the butt if I didn’t buy white gas without alcohol in it and/or run all the gas out of the tank. I’m not in the business of mowing for other people so I’ll take this over a gas mower any day. Five stars because the company made good on their guarantee without any hassle and the machine does what I need it to do. I don’t know how well it cuts grass to a golfer’s standards.

Not as good as the one purchased several years ago
Purchased this based on similar make/model bought several years ago. Tires are now plastic with few crevices so that it's difficult to move over sand or anything wet. As well all 4 tires are the same level and type so more difficult to go up small slopes. It doesn't chop down everything, but leaves long skinny stemmed weed tufts. Batteries are great; easy to work with though. I think it'll work fine for a small urban lawn of St. Augustine or Bermuda that is level and with few if any sand patches or holes. My need was for one step up from that - pretty level, but more sand and more holes. As well, when using, the components slip about. I have to raise it manually to go over crevices; it'll bump into different positions.

Love this lawnmover
This is my second Greenworks lawnmower. My first purchase was 3 years ago and it's a corded mower. It still cuts great after three years, but I wanted the cordless battery operated mower. I wanted the ease of not having to deal with the cords. The cords add so much additional time to cutting the grass. The battery operated mower is great. It cuts grass with ease. One button start and you're mowing. Noting to do out the box but charge the batteries and screw the handles on. It's recommended to charge the batteries before use. The two batteries charged for about 2.5 hrs and were ready. I used the mower the next day to cut my yard. I did my yard in 30mins (I don't have a tiny yard). Checked batteries and I still had one bar left on each. So that's probably another 15mins left of charge. When you're done mowing, recharge batteries for next time. The mover is very lightweight, easy to push and maneuver. Has one button height adjustment. It's powerful, easily mulches grass and grinds pinecones and small sticks. I highly recommend this lawnmower. This lawnmower doesn't disappoint.

Well known and reliable brand
I have a corded lawnmower from them that is almost 20 years old and still working with no issues. I was looking for an electric lawnmower without a cord because cutting my yard with a cord has become a pain especially since I have nicked my cord a few times. So when I was looking for a replacement, I went for the same company as the original one. This one didn't fail to deliver. The only issue I had was that the instruction on how to adjust the blade was not very cleared. My friend was able to figure it out for me and I was able to cut my yard. I was able to completely cut my yard with only one green line on each battery left. I live on a fourth of an acre. I hope this lawnmower last as long as my original. I still have the original and will keep it as a back up.

Exceeded Expectations
Very impressed with this electric mower. We were on the fence about how well it would do compared to gas and it’s great! It even has a safety feature on it to stop mowing when you hit something. Our yard is on the large side and we’re able to get 3/4 of the yard done before it needs to recharge. Recharging doesn’t take long at all maybe 30-45min so in the mean time you could grab a drink, snack or as we like to do weed eat or other lawn work. The mower is also collapsible making it easy to store which is a plus if you are storage space limited. Collapsing it can be a little tricky but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty easy. I would recommend this mower if you are looking for something easy to use and store and don’t have to worry about spending more money to power it. Looking forward to getting more for this brand as I transform my yard.

Woah! A really good find for the price
First of all, the price...I was expecting cheaper quality and not-so-good results. I WAS WRONG. Ballin on a budget has led me to this item and it is a good find. The battery life is very good. I was able to get my entire yard done on one charge. Charging the batteries does take a while but if you have a medium to small yard, this will not be a problem. The mower is of good quality as well. It chewed through everything that was in its path. I had about an ft of overgrowth that this thing just chewed right now and kept on going. When I hit the 2ft overgrowth area, it did give it some trouble and stalled out. Decided to go slow and in small chunks...Right idea. Don't pass this up if you have a small yard and you do not want to spend a ton of money on a mower.

Nice, but not enough battery life
I bought this to replace my corded mower so I could more easily maneuver around garden beds and trees. It's nice and quiet, but I was disappointed that I only got about 22 minutes of run time with both batteries fully charged. If I could get 30 minutes out of a charge, I'd be able to do the front yard before recharging to do the back yard (which usually each took me 45 minutes dragging a cord around). Might consider buying extra batteries, but those suckers are pretty expensive.

Very impressed
I am very impressed... Received around noon, assembled it ( just a few bolts to tighten), charged it (around 2h, and did my front and back lawn in 1 go. I have a pretty small grass area in the back considering that the pool takes a large part of the land, it took about 30 minutes in total. Would not recommend for large areas unless you are welling to pay for extra batteries or do it in sections between charges (am/pm or day 1/day 2). It is also pretty quiet compared to a gas lawn mower. I could still hear the noise in the surrounding area. I am pretty noise sensitive, and it did not disturb me. Even a vacuum is louder than this lawn mower. It cut the grass nicely, an event with all sorts of weeds mixed in the lot. I am in a bit in the countryside and the grass is not as pretty as the one you find in the city. Just be careful, it cut the grass pretty low… I would suggest starting at a higher level and go your way down to find your right fit. Let’s say that my front lawn is pretty short right now hahaha Other than that… I saw somewhere that to help with the lifespan of the batteries and using time, to let them get cool after you remove them from the charger and before you use them or when you are done using them to let them cool before to put them on the charger. It took about 30 minutes for me. I thought it was some great advice and if its help… Why not!

Batteries dead before their time
I purchased a Greenworks 48 volt 17” mower MO48B2210 on May1, 2021. One year later and the 2 - 24 volt batteries will no longer hold any charge. When brand new, I was able to mow for approximately 30 minutes before needing to charge them. Not great but acceptable—I don’t have a large yard. But this year I’ve never gotten more than 10 to 15 minutes and now, after attempting to mow 3 times so far this spring, the batteries are completely useless. I charged them fully per instructions in the manual and they have never been exposed to cold or heat. Greenworks warrantee states that "Greenworks 24V, 40V & 48V products and batteries are protected against all defects in materials, parts or workmanship under normal use for a period of three years (90 days for commercial use) from the shipping date or in-store purchase date.” I have tried repeatedly to contact your customer service but never got through. At 3:15 pm EST today, the message was that your customer service was closed, despite your website stating that it is open until 5pm.

Missing the mulching attachment
Easy to assemble - easily handles a regular sized yard. The wheels are relatively cheap plastic compared to what you might expect from a gas powered lawn mower so I expect they'll have to be replaced at some point. It's a bit stiff but the quiet cut and lack of gas/oil makes up for it. I'd give it 4 starts but mine was missing the mulching attachment, which is disappointing and frankly not worth my effort to package up and initiate a return for. This is a case where buying locally might be of benefit.

Great mower!
I really like this mower, it’s a great one to have if you don’t have a lot of grass to cut. My pros: runs rwell and smooth, easy to manoeuver, lightweight, very clean cuts, bagging/mulching features are both excellent, and I like the compact design especially important for space saving. My con: I only wish the battery lasted a bit longer. With full charge I manage to quickly do both front and back of my property barely. When my grass is tall I have to recharge because it sucks the energy. I am always nervous it won’t make it to the end even though I only have a small urban lawn less than 1300 sq ft. I like every thing about it. Though it’s slightly on the pricier side but you can get it on sale easily. It’s worth buying because you will be pleased with the results after mowing. My lawn is always sharp and clean with minimal residue left behind even after mulching. I highly recommend this mower for small application!
