One of my favorite pouches
Was looking for a smallish leather pouch to replace my large, worn nylon rig and discovered that they arent so easy to come by. I turned to Amazon and found this Greenlee that I am pretty happy with. It definitely earns the moniker "heavy duty" and does take a little time to break in, but it is well built. The loops on the front (if you are right handed) are nice and thick, but the ones on the rear of the pouch are considerably thinner. That works for me though, b/c they are a little harder to get to and I don't use them often anyway. Overall the pouch is just small enough to keep you from you carrying every tool you own, but big enough for the tools you need at the moment.

Very disappointed
I’ve had one of these pouches for over 10 years. Wore like iron, very durabl, soft pliable leather that’s comfortable to wear. It’s starting to get a little tired so I ordered a new one. The new one has leather that is half the thickness, stiff as a board, and seems like less and thinner rivets holding it together. I’m very disappointed considering what I had come to expect from my previous greenlee pouch. I’m trying to soften it up with neatsfoot oil right now but it’s taking a while. I won’t be buying one of these again.

AMAZING POUCH!!!!
As a commercial electrician apprentice I wear this everyday and holds what I need . The pockets are nice and roomy with no fumbling around trying to get tools out . All in all great pouch to wear and very comfortable.

I challenge anyone to find better
This has got to be the best made, perfect size, strong and stiff bag. No fiddling with the search. I hate having to stop to look down for a tool. With this, you reach down and BAM!! you got the tool. Solid studs. As expected, not the star back studs that rust and break out after a short period. I have also been able to tweak a couple of pockets with sex screws for a lightning fast draw.

This is the bag you're looking for. It's made from, no, BUILT from thick, rich, heavy duty leather that smells good. The other bags like this are made of that cheap stuff that falls apart. This is just like your grandfather's bag, you know, old-timey leather that needs to break in. Good stuff.

Best Upgrade for me. Bravo Zulu!!
I work for a company installing large Commercial Fire Alarms. I used to you this Fabric Tool Pouch that worked fine, but my tools started tearing holes in it. I wanted to upgrade to a leather tool pouch but, the ones in the retail stores were to stiff. It was like strapping a hard box to my waist. So, I took a chance and bought this Greenlee Tool Pouch. It is soft, but holds it shape and it works perfectly for me. Now, i can carry everything I will need while I'm working in the field.

Quality vs Price..unbeatable!!!
This electrician pouch is made of top quality leather and riveted (not Sewn). I paid almost half the price of "Big Named" competitors that say that they are top of the line. THIS TOOL POUCH "IS ONE OF THE TOP OF THE LINE!!!". Greenlee have been in business for electricians for years and years...The Name is still good ant the quality GREAT!!!

Do not miss it !
I have nothing to say about Greenlee... Obviously , the one of best electrical brand. Made by great and strong grain leather material. The first few week You will smell it in the trunk. Endurable! Ive been using in heavy-duty as an journeyman electrician. Highly recommend it!

Nice pouch with great ergonomics
Bigger and better laid out than my Klein pouch and the black is a plus. Really like the tape clip position and actually find the hammer loop and tape chain convenient as well. High quality leather made break-in quick and painless, yet the tool dividers maintained their rigidity. Great pouch for a reasonable price.
