Very thin metal. Not recommended as a boot tray.
I purchased this to use as a plant tray, and it is an excellent solution for that. If I purchased this for boots, I would be very disappointed. The metal is very thin. It is also warped when empty, but with pots in it flattens out. You can also tell the metal would rust and get even further warped/dinged if putting wet, snowy, salty boots on it. It is also suggested under pet bowls, but would also be disappointing for that use. It would be loud and easily damaged by a dog any larger than a chihuahua. The price was lower than most other similar products, and for my intentions works very well. Just be careful what you use it for.

Nice
Arrived bent but because it's under a chair the Ben side can't bee seen. Metal and easily pliable. But, it works for the shoes so I like the look.

Perfect plant tray
I bought this as a protectant tray to hold my plants on top of an antique piano. I love it!

Beautiful but bends easily
This item is nice, but arrived with one end bent. Kind of annoying with the price but I don't want to mess with a return.

Very large dent on side if tray
Pros: Really is a pretty tray. A much larger version of the plastic boot/shoe trays sold at Wal-Mart etc. It does take up a lot of space but holds quite a bit more. Cons: Tray came out very dented right out of the box. Now, I did buy this from Amazon Warehouse (but the description said very good condition, with only a small imperfection). I am not sure if the dent was from shipping or if the warehouse thinks a large crushing dent is a small imperfection. It is not small. The product was not protected in any way and the box was dented. So I am not sure if the dent got worse from shipping or not. My concern is whether or not this will stand up to they everyday battery of shoes and boots getting tossed on to it. The outer rim is much higher than I would like and it folds over on to its self creating an inner ring, so to speak.

Decoration and functional
Love this boot tray. I have avoided buying boot trays because I wanted something decorative and functional to go in our living room. The customer service was great too because the boot tray we got had a small discolouration and they sent a replacement.

Yes - you want these trays!
Some beauty in the mudroom... these look great and wipe clean easily. I was worried about how they would hold up to salt and slush from winter boots, but with a little wipe down they look as good as new.

LOOKS LIKE I EXPECTED AND IT SERVES ME WELL. ONLY ISSUE WAS ITS MUCH MUCH LIGHTER THAN I EXPECTED. ITS LIKE TIN. SO ITS ALWAYS SLIDING AROUND I HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO AFFIX IT TO THE GROUND ..I ASSUMED IT WOULD BE MUCH WEIGHTIER CUZ ITS BIG AND MADE OF METAL.
