Fun to play with, but only one side lights up
This yo-yo is my eleven-year-olds first, and she loves it. It is not the first yo-yo I have used, but the rest must have been cheap because this is by far the nicest one I've tried. After a few lessons from Grandpa, she was yo-yo-ing like a pro, and I couldn't get her to put it down to do anything else for a few days. This yo-yo has a nice weight and excellent bearings, allowing it to spin for a long time. It feels nice in my hand and returns so fast that it hurt my hand a couple of times from the force. My only problem with the yo-yo is that ours came defective, and only one side lights up. My daughter was disappointed with this defect, especially since it was a gift, but she still enjoys playing with it.

This is a solid midgrade yo-yo option
We got this for my son for his 13th birthday and were actually a little surprised at how much he has enjoyed having it. His friends and siblings (ages 8-16) have all spent some fairly significant time with it and it's nice to have something in the house that gets their attention and doesn't have a screen attached to it. The build quality is decent and we haven't noticed any issues, even after dozens of hours of use. It looks nice and the lights can be somewhat fun - particularly when practicing in low light.

The rattling sound is not a defect, average yo-yo.
I’m not an expert in yo-yo’s but I do have several that I toss around sometimes when I’m bored. This is supposed to be a competition yo-yo which I have no idea if it meets the criteria or not. For the price and build quality I would consider it an average yo-yo. This yo-yo doesn’t have any fancy ball bearings or easy to use clutch, it only has a bearing at the spool which makes it spin for a longer time. For a beginner like myself I do prefer the clutch yo-yo because it’ll return automatically before it looses spin. With this yo-yo you have to flick it to make it return or I’ll keep spinning until it stops. The yo-yo has an optical illusion design on the sides using mirrors and LEDs, it just makes the light look like it has more depth to give it a 3D effect. The LEDs have batteries that can be replaced by removing a few screws. Because this is a bearing yo-yo the string spooling will be a bit different than a regular yo-yo. If you try to spool normally the wire will just keep spinning. To spool you just keep your finger over the center and spool about 3 times then remove the finger and continue spooling. I did notice that the yo-yo has a rattling sound when shaken which I assumed was from something broken inside. The rattle is actually from the contacts needed for the LEDs to light up and to keep them from turning on unless it’s spun, the rattle is not a defect but it also can’t be removed. The only issue I had with the yo-yo was the product packaging, one side of the yo-yo is on the outside to let people “try it” to show the lights. The issue is that they didn’t add a sticker to keep that side from being scuffed which it did. Overall the yo-yo seems about average to me, it’s a bearing yo-yo so you would have to do a bit of research to know if it’s a style you would like.

Good for a beginner or a kid
This yoyo is fun for kids, with the light effects and the mirror on the sides. It does take a flick to get it to return, and didn't feel quite as smooth as some I have used in the past. With the price point, it would make a good gift for a beginner or a child, but not an adult who uses yoyo's all the time and really is good with them. You can at replace the batteries for the LED lights, which is a nice touch, as some products won't allow that.

Fun, but not overly impressive.
As far as yo-yos go, this one is about average. It's not overly sturdy nor does it feel like it will fall apart when you throw it. The lights are cute. Mine was reasonably balanced, but does not easily return when you flick the string. Easy to practice tricks with this yo-yo, but definitely recommend something else for anyone serious about it.

Nice light-up yoyo
This is overall a pretty nice light-up yoyo. It's not my favorite design and I've used smoother feeling yoyos, but this is not bad by any means. The one thing I didn't care for was that this didn't come with the string already set up. I'm not sure why the manufacturer chose to do that, but it probably took me 2-3 minutes to unscrew the yoyo and place the loop over the bearing. It's not that it's a big deal, I just found it a little annoying. The yoyo itself, lights aside, isn't the prettiest thing to look at. It does look good when you're using it, but it's just not impressive sitting on the table. That said, if you want to try a yoyo that lights up, this is not a bad place to start.

Cool lights
The media could not be loaded. This Yo-Yo features mesmerizing lights and mirrors that create a unique, hypnotic effect. The plastic is solid and durable to hold up over continued use. On the downside, the string is too long and doesn't have an appropriate slip knot. I have also found this Yo-Yo to be unnecessarily difficult to wind because the string slips too easily over the bearing.

Mine is off balance
It works but has some crazy vibration. I guess I shouldn't expect pro quality at this price, but I've gotten better for less money. It is possible mine is faulty, but I think it may just be how they come.
