Elegant, well made little lamp.

I was replacing a cheap desk lamp that stopped working after 3 months. I wanted something that looked nice, was sturdy and had a usb charge port as well. this fits the bill perfectly. very happy with my purchase.

Just what we were looking for

We have a new head board with new bedside tables and were looking for a lamp which was USB plug-in capable. I have been searching for "the" lamp since last year. Either prices were too high, reviews were terrible or a number of other issues. The negative reviews on here didn't really relate to the lamp, so those were discarded as null to me. I went on other websites that sell this same lamp, and for the most, they were all positive. In addition, other sites were typically double the price found on Amazon. So it made it past the review stage and of course the looks stage. Thus I purchased it. All parts were within the box and were still wrapped in the plastic that covered each of the pieces. The exterior of one box was damaged, but fortunately it didn't affect the lamp within. The only thing you have to do, once unwrapped, is find a lightbulb (40W or less) and twist it and the shade into place. Then tada! You are done. I did have one issue with the lightbulb not working. It worked, and then it wouldn't turn on. I was able to fix that by finding another bulb. So far both lights are working well and add a great ambiance to the room. So at this point I have absolutely no regrets in purchasing it. It's stable enough that my cat will not be able to knock it off with their typical "let's knock everything off the table". It's sturdy and puts out a good amount of light. And the price is right!!!

Good lamp for the price

Bought two for bedroom night stands and overall I'm keeping them. They look more expensive than they are, fit the mid-century vibe we're going for and the USB charger (2.1A) is a nice bonus since we mostly use it for overnight phone charging. The light is pretty good as it's white inside and the shade is adjustable so you can move it to suit your position, as it can be in your eyes depending on your angle. You get what you pay for - the black metal shades feel somewhat thin, like they might deform if you dropped them. Another thing is there's a caution sticker placed on the rim of the shade so you see it whenever you look at the lamp. While it is probably removable I didn't want to remove safety information, but it would've been better if it was placed elsewhere or on the top of the shade where you don't see it. It also didn't occur to me at the time that the on/off switch and USB plug are placed on the side of the circular stand part rather than on the top of the stand, so if you're buying one you may want to look at where they are and the angle you want to place the lamp to see if it's convenient. For example, on one side of the bed the USB port is at the back and on the other side it's at the front.

Such a cute lamp

I have it on my desk at work for a little extra light and flair, and everyone has stopped to give me complements on it. The cord is cloth insulated which is a nice touch. My one complaint is that it seems like there are two slightly different brushed metals used, and the end caps of the T base part are polished. Otherwise, if this fits your aesthetic, go for it

Not quite what I had hoped...

There were scratches in the gold finish and when I set it on the nightstand, it just looked...odd. I didn't like the way that the light was just concentrated in one area, either. I ended up sending it back.

Very nice desk lamps

We got these lamps for our bedside lamps. They look great, and work well. I really like the switch on the base, rather than the cord so you dont have to go digging for the switch. I havent used the USB ports yet, but they're a nice feature too. The only downside I have has they are made to be desk lamps, not nightstand lamps, and as such, they are made direct all the light onto something, like say, a desk! It doesnt light the room overall, which I guess I expected. So I'll likely see if I can track down a clear shade for these. But of course, that isnt the lamp's fault. All in all though, I really like these.

Good lamp; just a couple imperfections

The lamp came in a well packaged box. Simply open the box, put a bulb in it and turn it on. Very easy to assemble. Sturdy and good value for money. It looks great on my desk; however, it came with a couple imperfections. There is a small “ding” on the top of the lamp and the pipe had a tarnished part. See pictures for reference. Overall, a good lamp. Stylish and affordable.

Amazing lamp

Bought this used and was worried it would come scratched as other users wrote, and I guess I received a brand one! Very stylish and I use it to charge my phone everyday on my desk with its USB outlet.

This lamp not only works well, and has a usb port it looks really nice on our side table. Most directional lights are kind of ugly - not this one! A very nice looking lamp
