After a long extensive search I found the right one

Shipping was super fast and packaging was well ok. It literally took 3 days to get delivered. The buck was in a box just like if you pulled it from the shelf at the store. That box has slight damage but it was inside of another box. I was actually worried about damage so I immediately pulled everything out and examined it and found only one super small problem that isn’t nothing major. One of the tines was slightly bent. Like I said nothing major and nothing that would affect the target so I still gave this 5 stars. What I really like about this 3D target is it’s size and the insert. It’s a lot bigger than the rhinehart and more affordable. The insert can be replaced and it even has the organs on it. You have different side to the target which can be moved around for different shots. You have a quarter side that the idea is to practice your shot at a slight angle. You can move the target for a broadside shot and then another side you can use for when your in a tree stand. What this does is allows you to have a better shot execution. It puts you in a real life scenario like if you was actually out hunting. This makes for better practice for when your out in the field. The over all quality of this target is outstanding. The arrows don’t fly through the target and they are easy to pull. I have wanted a 3D target for a long time now and I have done a lot of searching before finally deciding on this. It seems this was really one of the few that didn’t have a bunch of bad reviews and after owning this I can see why. It’s worth the price. If you bow hunt then this is the 3D target I would recommend. It’s just so much better than just shooting at a dang block. It makes it so much more fun and it can even help get youth involved. I have several block targets and I just gave my 13 year old son my bow I used last year when I got my new one. It’s like he didn’t really get excited to just go out and shoot the block. It’s boring which I understand why. When I set this up he walked outside and seen me shooting and next thing I know after disappearing for a few minutes he came back out the door with his bow. Lol. That’s why I like to see.

Arrow pulling

Had a really hard time pulling the arrows out of the target

Good practice buck, poor quality

First one we have bought. I am sure it will be fine for my 13 and 15 year to practice on but for the price it would be nice for it to arrive not looking so banged up and cheaply put together.

Second one bought for quality

Great 3D deer. Bought a second one for outside. Shot hundreds of arrows in my original. Only complaint is mine didn’t come with antlers. Guess it’s a large doe now

Great practice pad, poor quality deer

The practice pad is great, but the deer came damaged. There was a chunk missing out of the head piece out of the box and the left antler won’t stay in.

Nice target

I’ve put over 100 arrows in it since I got it 2 weeks ago and still holding up good. Love that it has 4 sides. Arrows are not bad to pull out. Wish the legs didn’t wiggle lose after a few shots. But other then that it’s good. Will order some more to have more yardages to shoot at.

Broken Ear

So far it's great! I would purchase again and recommend to friends.

I'm shooting a Bear Agenda 6 @ 70lbs, roughly 335fps arrow speed, at 20yds. Some cosmetic defects on the body that DON'T hinder the replaceable core. Nothing major, and it's a target not a decoy, so I don't care about blemishes. CONS: -The way the plastic legs attach to the foam will most likely fail if unit is taken apart multiple times or with heavy movement from pulling arrows. (Will post up after another 200 arrows) -replaceable core does not "lock in" from top, which allows it to move back approximately ¾" when shot -MINOR cosmetic imperfections on body of target (does NOT affect performance of unit) Pros: -Easy setup -Symmetrical replaceable core that takes 100% of the punishment and none to the deer -LARGE shootable areas on core -4 faces on core to shoot -Easy to replace core 148 arrows: After 120 heart/double lung shots, my arrows are poking 3" out of backside in that area (pix 1), target still looks good, and no complete pass-throughs. Not sure how this will impact performance of opposite side. On this face of the replaceable core, there's still plenty of room to shoot other areas (pix 2, 3). Even if opposing side is toast, I'll still get a second face to shoot. The cores are comparably priced to others so not too worried, but I'll report back when I cross that moat.

My husband was so happy to have found this Insert core at a good price, however, there are different sizes for the Gendel buck and the insert was too small for his buck. He kept the insert for target practice, but remember to check the size of your buck before ordering!
