Ah, front closure. I was so sick of wrangling my bra around my waist from having to do the hook and eye on the back and then rotate and hoist these babies up, I thought- "I'll try a front closure again! That'll do the trick!". And so I found one, by a brand that I trust for sports bras. Those annoying hook and eyes? Well, they allow for tightening the band as it stretches, which a front closure doesn't do. That's not on them, that's on me for failure to remember past mistakes. However, it's a good reminder for the busty babes considering this bra. The front closure itself is pretty small and doesn't seem like it's going to last very long. The lace pattern is nice, and overall the fabric and stitching is satisfactory. Someone else mentioned a seam that runs under the breast up to the center, and it does appear that you have hard nipples. That is fine by me, nipples are on boobs, but because you can't adjust the band, it starts slipping up your back, your heavy dumb boobs start falling back into "no bra" position and then it looks like you have two nipples, and displays to the world just how saggy these puppies are. That, I mind. Next. The underwires in the center do not extend far enough up so you're slipping down into "weird line running diagonally through the boobs" territory because it's pulling at the center edge of the fabric of the cup itself. Then, because they don't extend far enough up, and the band slips, the fabric covering the top end of the center underwire kinda folds down and out. So now you have two weird shiny spots between your boobs on your tee shirt if you need to pick anything up and hold it close to your chest. Like a laundry basket that you have to hold high enough to get it over the dog gate while you walk through. I'd use this as a "wouldn't normally be wearing a bra but my kid has friends over or my neighbor might stop by" bra, but because of the band slip, and the weight of the ta-tas pulling down, the should straps dig in deep. Not comfy enough for a no bra-bra. Honestly, the shoulder pain gets me to a "IHAVETOTAKETHISBRAOFFRIGHTNOW" point. Before anybody cusses me out for attributing poor measurement to product design, please know that I am well aware how to measure for a good bra fit. This specific bra would be great for women with boobs that could go without a bra, or boobs that aren't heavy and dense. Guess I'll go back to wrenching the band around for the good ole back closure. Good luck on your journey to the perfect unlined front closure, friend. It may be out there, but I've never seen it.
