Quality Place Settings

This is an attractive pattern and the pieces have "weight." I have used these pieces for several years and purchased another 20 pieces so that I have plenty for entertaining. The price at Amazon was a lot less that the price I paid for my first place settings. Originally chose the pattern because the ginkgo leaf is associated with the Craftsman style but could fit in with a variety of styles. They have kept their brilliance over the years.

I purchased 3 sets of the silverware and this serving set 3 months ago and couldn't be happier with them. I use them daily and run them through the dishwasher. I've had absolutely no problems with marks, stains or anything else. I love the highly polished shine - it is reminiscent of my silver plate silverware set that I never use. I love the ginko leaf style and find them comfortable to hold when I eat with them.

DO NOT BUY!!! This is not true 18/10 stainless.

First washing this flatware was covered in RUST! Obvious poor manufacturing standards. All pieces failed the magnet test for 18/10. I will keep searching for high quality 18/10 like my 1970's Oneida made in USA. Sorry Gingko. You wasted a beautiful design with inferior workmanship.

Quite pretty

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law. They are quite lovely and of good weight. The design is slightly modern and 'artsy" which is especially important to her and she likes them very much. Time will tell how they hold up, but my guess is that they will do well. The only regret I have is that I liked them so much I wish I could have kept them for myself. Perhaps I will ask for them for Christmas next year!

Beautiful workmanship

Absolutely fell in love with the pattern and despite a few negative reviews, I thought I would give it a try. The set came individually wrapped, then in bubble wrap. It has a beautiful finish and each piece is quite heavy with good balance. It has gone through several automatic dish washings and it still looks new. I definitely recommend it to anyone!

Good choice!

I purchased one 20-piece set and was so impressed that I reordered. Unfortunately, because of one very bad review, this item doesn't get the praise it deserves. I have used mine for over a year and have never noticed any problems. After many dishwasher trips, it still looks new. This is a somewhat unusual pattern but is really very lovely.

Not 18/10. Rusted with first washing. Same review as the place settings. This manufacturer really dropped the ball regarding quality.
