long sleeves, short torso

Fair disclosure, I am a coach of and mother to competitive swimmers on a team sponsored by Speedo. In general I LOVE their suits and equipment but not a fan of their clothing. This uv cover up is really nice for on deck to use. It has a nice jacket design with no pockets, but a zipper that works smoothly and easily. It protects from sun uv but also is light enough that I am not overheating. The seams are well sewn and I could find no manufacturing flaws. The color does not match what I see on my monitor but if you are familiar with the Speedo Royal Blue you will know what to expect, a soft royal blue without any purple undertones. I am 5'11" tall. I normally find Speedo suits and clothing to be too short in the torso for me, and this has that issue -- the hem of the torso hits just an inch below my waist and I would have appreciated a little more length. On the flip side, the shoulder width, which is usually too narrow, was perfect for me, and the sleeve length was ideal -- long without being too much. I imagine this will get a lot of use. Made in Vietnam. 100% Polyester, machine wash cold, tumble dry.

Lightweight UV Protection

I've owned quite a few different rash guards over the years and this is my favorite so far. The zippered front makes is super easy to remove. Removing a long-sleeved tee over your head is a pain. This style makes it super easy. The material itself is very lightweight. Almost silky in texture. It feels breathable and not at all constrictive. The sleeves were quite long on my (past my fingertips), but I was able to push them up to my wrist. The hood provides nice coverage as well. There was plenty of space and the hood was able to hang down over most of my forehead. I get sunburned super easily, so I prefer to wear something like this over my swimsuit in the summer months or when I'm doing a lot of outdoor activity. It's lightweight, comfortable to wear, and looks good on. I've been very pleased with it so far.

Fits great! I went one size up so it would fit over my suit loosely

I really love this cover-up hoodie jacket! When I go swimming, after I come out I often want to keep the sun off of my shoulders and chest while I dry off. This cover-up hoodie jacket is perfect! I can wear it with my board shorts while puddling around in the river and not worry that it's going to get wet, because it dries off super quickly, or put it on after I've been swimming and still know that I am able to dry off because this and my Speedo swimsuit both wick moisture very well. I went with one size up because I like a looser fit on a cover-up. It fit over my DD chest very comfortably and feels flattering yet not too tight.

Terrific jacket---great fit, just the right amount of coverup warmth!

This is a lovely jacket! It's beautiful, a very nice blue, and it's so smooth feeling and well made on. It provides just the right amount of spring warmth. It would be perfect to toss in a beach bag or a suitcase for a summer jacket when it gets cool, too. I like that it has UV protection, and that it's a hoodie! I've been using this as my daughter's spring jacket for school, and it goes with most any outfit. Typical high Speedo quality!

Cover up, not a swim top...

I really like this cover up. It is well made with precise stitching and no loose threads that I could see. The fabric is a super soft polyester with decent stretch and the fit is somewhat relaxed, not fitted like you might find in a swim top. This really is a cover up to wear over your suit and it fits exactly as expected. Overall, this is a great cover-up that provides protection from uv rays.

Buttery soft!

Speedo Women’s Cover Up. Thin, lightweight, comfortable, breathable, stretchy, buttery soft! Provides full coverage - long sleeves, full zipper, hood, and longer in the back than the front. Smooth zipper. Looser comfortable fit (Not skin tight compressing fit). Good cover up - gives warmth, UV protection, and dries quickly. True to size. Made by trusted swim brand. Recommend!

Bad zipper

This sun cover up is ok. The material is super thin, which is nice when it's hot, but it feels pretty cheap. I wouldn't recommend this for swimming because of the loose fit. I'm 5'9, 165lbs, 36ddd, normally between a medium and large, but I always order a bigger size in these kinds of sun protective tops because they're usually very fitted and I don't like anything tight. I ordered this in an XL and it's much bigger than I expected. I think it would've been slightly fitted in a medium and nice and loose in a large. It was my mistake, this is meant to just throw on over your bathing suit out in the sun, not one of those tight swim tops. The length hits me low on the hips with the back dipping slightly lower. The sleeves are nice and long for my long arms. My biggest problem with this zip up is the zipper. It's really cheap and is constantly getting stuck. For how expensive this is, they could've put on a decent zipper.

Perfect length, good materials

La tela es muy delgadita, pero es una sudadera muy práctica.

En la foto parece tener una tela satinada y gruesa y ser más larga, pero es de una tela muy delgadita y nada satinada, pero resulta muy útil en este tiempo de calor, también es calientita cuando hace frío y muy liviana. La talla viene muy cómoda, la recomiendo.
