Good buy, good quality

FTM, so have been doing a lot of trial & error with baby products...Green Sprouts is great! I have placed (2) frozen cubicles of pureed sweet potato in this bowl which neatly sits inside a saucepan. Also able to place lid on saucepan on so food gets steam effect too. Leave the bowl in there for about 3 minutes on a soft rolling boil. Take bowl out (be careful & at your your caution please) of saucepan and TA DA! You have a nice bowl of soft and warm baby food and without having to use a microwave! No weird, chemical smell from the bowl itself; so many other bowls that I have tried had that "smell". Also, another reason is that you can mash up any fruit or veggie in the bowl with a fork or spoon and mash away against a nice flexible surface with give. ie, I mash up bananas, other steamed/boiled fruits & veggies, etc. Great buy, worth it to me considering the many duds I came across and have spent the $10 bucks several times over anyway...

Good bowl to heat up food in

I like using this bowl to steam my son's frozen meat and veggies meals. Defrosting meat takes a while, and I'm not too patient, and so as the baby. For the most part, I use hot water and put containers of fruits and/or veggies to warm it up just a little bit so it's not cold. But meat is just too hard to heat up that way since it's too gentle. So when we are at home, I like to put his frozen cube food into this bowl and steam it in some shallow water in a saucepan. Works pretty well. It's easy to take out from the saucepan since it's silicone. Just let it rest for a few seconds and the bowl could be handled. Mix the food very well so the heat distribute evenly and it's ready to go.

LOVE this multi purpose bowl!

I'm surprised why this hasn't got more reviews. I love this bowl! I'm mainly using it to thaw and/or reheat (steam) baby food in boiling water in a covered saucepan on stove. I personally am totally averse to the idea of using a microwave to reheat baby food and this works great, the food gets heated while the bowl remains cool and so it is easy to take the bowl out of the boiling water with bare hands! and i use the same bowl to serve the food to little one (once has food has cooled down, of course!). Since it is silicone, I sometimes use the same bowl to serve snacks to baby, hate the clattering of plastic bowl every time it falls to the floor. Multi purpose! After baby's use, I will probably use it for my baking needs.

Nice and functional!

After the 3rd bowl my toddlers have destroyed I wised up and decided to buy something that is more durable. I haven't noticed any deficiencies with this product. I haven't microwaved anything in this for very long, but so far it seems not to have developed any cracking or white film which would indicate an inferior product. It is also constructed just right for a toddler to handle without tipping over by accident. My kids have small appetites so it's not too small. If your child eats a lot it might be a bit small. It fits about 5 ounces of food comfortably.

Easy to use/clean/great size

We use these every day with our child. Easy to clean, perfect portion size for a baby/toddler, and easy for her to grip and bring to the sink for cleanup. She knows its her food too when it's in these bowls. We have several, and are the only ones I will buy.

Too small for our toddler and preschooler. Good for kids just starting out with solids, I think.

Too small

These bowls were okay but I sent them back because they were too small for what I needed. The sides are low and when I would stir up baby cereal it would fall out of the sides.
