decent straps

These are pretty straight-forward, basically just compression straps. The buckles seem sturdy enough and the straps do as they are intended. The stitching on one of mine was a little sloppy, other than that no issues so far. I use them for camping gear.

Perfect

No mystery regarding function and no assembly required like the cheaper brands. Ready to work right out of the box, and no guesswork. Built well, and they are packaged to sell in a real store, not some cellophane envelope out of some bin with no identifying marks.

Great storage/travel solution

I love having these around when I'm packing for a camping or fishing or hiking trip. I use them to strap a few fishing rods together or to attach them to my backpack. They work great!

Can always find Uses for these

One of those items you don't know you need until you do. There are an endless uses for these utility straps, and the quick release buckles make them a must for constricting unruly items and lashing them down. I grabbed a zero degree mummy bag which will basically take as much space as you have when expanded. So, when someone forgets their stuff sack, and it's time to pack it up, these straps can at least give you a chance at containment. They are even more useful with structured items like sleeping pads, tent poles, etc.. which can be lashed to the outside of your pack, instead of taking up valuable space inside.

Infinitely Useful

Gear Aid has hit a home run here. I love love love these straps! They are so useful for any outdoorsman or woman who likes to condense and organize their packs/gear. I’ve actually purchased multiple sets to help keep my gear more compact and organized during car camping and hunting trips. The straps and buckles have held up perfectly to being tossed around and rattled down rough back country roads. I’ve found these 1” wide straps are excellent for condensing sleeping bags and pads. They are extremely easy to adjust and loosen thanks to the orange stay tab. All in all you can’t go wrong with these straps, especially for the price they cost. Pay attention to the circumference measurements and not just overall length. Made nicely in China.
