Does the job but feels flimsy
The GE WD08X10015 Genuine OEM Door Gasket is designed to fit several GE dishwasher models, and it is made from high-quality materials that are supposed to provide a tight seal around the dishwasher door. On the positive side, the installation process was relatively easy, and the gasket appears to be of good quality. It seems to provide an effective seal around the door, preventing leaks and ensuring that the dishwasher operates efficiently. However, on the downside, some users have reported that the gasket tends to wear out quickly, which means it may need to be replaced more frequently than expected. i disliked the total lack of instructions or tips on installing. you have to go online and find this info, if the model DW you have does not require door removal get a mirror and a light source to get a good visual of the insertion groove and the separations in it. if your looking for the right tool to press the insert into the grove you will find that the tip of your index finger will do the job if you apply the pressure to force the insert FULLY into the groove when its right the line across the top of the insert is tight the name of the game is keep pressing and especially at the ends when your done and it doesn't leak buy your index finger a cold beer LMR

Works
This gasket works for a year or two in our dishwasher. It fills that 4" space between gasgets on the bottom. GE says this is not the correct part for our dishwasher, but they no longer make the replacement called a "vent", so it will work for a while. This is not Amazon's fault.

Just as pictured when buying
Two minor difficulties: stretching it around the bends at the bottom of the door so that the ends would snap in place on the door's bottom; also being sure the bottoms REALLY were in place, otherwise they pop out when closing the door. But once placed properly, works great. Also I bought the little spacer to finish the seal between the ends of the gasket on the door's bottom. This was flimsy and worthless. I cut a piece from the old gasket instead, trimmed it to fit in place, and that works fine. But you don't even really need this piece at all.

Be sure you need it before you buy it
Bought it, didn’t need it, my model didn’t use it. To diagnose a leaky dishwasher, I suggest these steps. 1) Aggressively clean around the seal area. All around the door, especially bottom center. I found a lot of gunk here, leading me to believe I had a seriously deteriorated gasket. If leak persists then: 2) Take the corner gaskets out and vigorously clean then with a stiff brush. Reinstall them and if leak persists or if damage is evident then: 3) Replace corner gaskets with new. I replaced mine and saw that they were really dirty. Probably could have just cleaned them before I bought new. If leak persists then: 4) inspect door seal. Replace if damage is evident. If leak persists then: 5) leak could be somewhere else than the door. In my case I had slight discoloration on the bottom panel which told me it was a door seal.

Perfect fit, fresh
Got this part as well as fresh gaskets for my GE gsd2304k00ww dishwasher. These parts weren't the ones that actually stopped the leaking, since new corner baffles took care of that a while back (I recommend you check yours). Somehow, with this part missing on my dishwasher, and with the old door gasket all frayed and hardened, my dishwasher didn't leak. This along with fresh gaskets do help seal the door much, much better. No more smells while washing dishes.

Stop water leak from my GE dishwasher door bottom
Water was leaking from the dishwasher door bottom. Noticed there was no door gasket insert. Installed this door gasket insert (with no tool). No more leak. It is very expensive for this insert though.

This gasket was purchased to replace a leaking gasket. once i took the dishwasher interior door off i discovered that there had never been a gasket... strange... anyway, i ran the dishwasher through its cycle and no leaks.. awesome
