Wrong size
I wear a 3X and it's baggy when it comes to t-shirts. I stretched this coat out between my shoulder blades yeah I still have a hard time buttoning it.

Seriously, size up at least one size
One would expect that tall extra long would be intended for someone tall. They are considering someone 5'8 as tall, which is fair when referring to a woman, not for a man though. I got the x-large size, it's a bit too short as it only comes halfway down my calf, it's slightly tight In the shoulders without a coat on, and the hood is teeny tiny. I'm 6'4 and wear 32×34 pants. It fits in the waist though and the material is really thick plastic stuff. I just should have gotten an XX -large I guess, assuming that would increase the length and not just the width. It looks good. Seems well made and should do just fine if you get the right size. I would suggest it.

Good for the price
Good for the price, a little thinner than I expected, but long and gives good coverage

Worth the $$$$$$
For the price it is a lot heavier than i would have ever expected. It snaps instead of zipping which is a major + to me. One thing that is a tiny problem is that there is only one outside pocket.

Galeton 12560-XL-BK Repel Rainwear 0.35 mm PVC 60" Raincoat for More Coverage, XL, Black
If you are 5'6", this raincoat will clear the ground by an 1". Unless you have monkey lenght arms, the sleeves will probably reach your fingertips. This is a thick heavy duty rain coat, but very flexible. As for the strange snap buttoning system on the front of the coat, just lift the button flap up on the left side and use only those buttons to snap close the front. I didn't use the pant legs system, so I just made it one long coat looking like Uncle Fester. The head cover that comes with it does not reach out far enough to act as an overhead face shield. Although it comes with snap buttons, there are no snaps on the collar of the coat to connect the hat. The hat comes with draw string to tighten it around the face, however the rain coming off the hat will go down your neck. I plan on wearing it to wash my car during the rain. Using very little water to rinse off the loose dirt, I'm able to wash the car, lightly rinse off the soap and allow the rain to do the final rinse. The car comes out streaky clean with no water spots or dirty streaks and I don't have to towel dry it. Plus I save on water. Neighbors and passing cars think I'm scary. The common wisdom is not to wash the car because it is going to rain. Been doing this since I was a teen. PS...If the length and sleeves are too long, you can easily hem them without fear of ripping the material.

Very Good Product for the Money - Snaps are a challenge
The product arrived exactly as pictured on Amazon. However, the description says "flap pockets" as in plural. There is only one. The other pocket is on the inside and does not have a flap. Also, very difficult, if not impossible, to access/use the inside pocket unless the coat is open. The biggest flaw is the snap/closure system. It is not intuitive. I understand what they were trying to do but it doesn't work well. There is one set of snaps in the upper section of the coat. These are probably supposed to help keep the rain out. They close to the opposite of the other set of snaps. This set is difficult to figure out at first. A lot of the other reviews complain about these snaps. A zipper would have been a much better option, albeit more expensive. The main set of snaps goes the entire length of the coat. Mine did come with a hood and it snapped in place with no problem. Other reviews have indicated no hood included and no snaps on some coats. The material is very good quality and the fit works for me. I'm 5'7 and a little portly. The X-Large is what I ordered. It goes just a little short of my ankles. I bought this to use when I walk my dog in the rain/snow. Looking forward to trying it out the next time it rains. PS. I tried to see how lower part of the coat could be used as "chaps" according to the description. On the coat I received, this is not possible. The type and location of the snaps make this impossible. I didn't plan to use this so called option, so not an issue for me. Just FYI.

Absolutely LOVE this raincoat
Thank goodness I read many reviews that said they run small. I purchased an XXL. It's a bit large on me who is 5'7"/180, but fits my hubby who is 5'10/200 perfectly. We just bought one to share as there is only one of us that has to walk out to the chicken coop or other buildings in a rain storm. We're both tickled to finally have a nice long raincoat. This raincoat goes down to just above our shoes. It's sure not thin either. I wouldn't say it's heavy, maybe medium weight is a good way to sum it up, but it seems sturdy, not one that's going to stretch or rip with normal wear. We figured out it's got a quick/partial snap method for just running outside quick, or a complete snap method if it's nasty out or going to be out for long. It also has two snaps in the back, one just below the butt and the other closer to the bottom so if you were going to be sitting in a car, you could unsnap those two. The collar is nice and feels like its fabric. It has a snap at each wrist in case you wanted to make a cuff, or tighten it up. The hat I snapped on easily. It fits well and looks great too. All in all, this is a great raincoat! We both are very pleased.

Cancer Warning
Rainy season is coming so it is time for a nice coat to stay dry. I received my coat and started at taking it out of the Amazon packaging. I take it out and the first thing I see is a warning sign on the package. Look at the attached image. What do I see? A WARNING notice that the product contains cancer chemicals. I have a few questions. - How is it legal to sell this product? - Why was this warning not mentioned on any picture or description for this product? Instant return. I'll take my money back, thank you.

Good piece of kit
I wear this coat while walking the dog in the rain. The very large size is great, as I can wear warm layers underneath. It is quite roomy which helps to avoid moisture build up from your body. And it is easy for me to stoop to pick up dog poo. The overlapping front closure works well to keep out rain. The standard shaped rain hood attaches easily with the snaps. If you need to shield your face, wear a ball cap or an athletic visor. The length of the coat is great for keeping my pants dry. Yellow would have been a better color for visibility. I would have liked to have two outside pockets instead of just one. I would have preferred to have a zipper closure at the front with velcro for the flap covering the zipper. Some of the negative commentators do not seem bright enough to be allowed out alone to walk down the street.

Button arrangement
I like this raincoat. I'm 6'-4" and it fits to above the ankles. I'd been warned about the odd button arrangement in posts that I had read prior to ordering. The button arrangement is likely a unisex accommodation so that one may fasten them left over right or right over left.

Perfect!
Many people are confused about the buttons, but I'm confused at why they are confused. It seemed pretty simple and straightforward to me. Nothing seemed out of place and I immediately recognized that it is that way because it can be done up from both sides like standard male/female clothing. Do not worry about that in purchasing this product. Its well made, thick, and looks good too. I'm 6'3" and it was almost at my ankles being a perfect height. I actually managed to go biking for an hour in the rain with this on. It worked perfect and kept my lap covered and dry which usually doesn't happen biking in a long raincoat. It also stayed up and away from my gears/chain wile still biking properly. I was surprised at how nice this coat was. Buy it!

Very heavy garment
This raincoat is nice and long but, you must have lots of patience putting it on and closing it up. There are numerous mini snaps that have a function other than not the one you want to line up and close the front of the garment. I donated mine to someone with more patience than I have.
