Should be much more durable than other bar plugs
I bought these bar plugs because one of my friends had them and they looked like what I needed to replace the plugs that came with my grips. I have had problems loosing plugs to the tight trails I ride. With wide bars and tight clearances with trees, I am regularly grazing (sometimes more solidly than others) trees with the bar ends and loosing them. These metal plugs with their heavy duty attachment method looked to be what I needed. Once I got them installed, they are secure and durable. However, they were a pain to install. You can't just put them in the hole and tighten them until secure because the expanding plug turns inside the handlebar. Instead, I had to pre-tighten them enough that they fit very snugly, then hammer them in. When I got them pre-tightened enough that they were very difficult to get in, they still turned inside the handlebar during additional tightening , making it hard to get them secure enough to stay in when I "graze" a tree.

Classy addition to your bar ends, maybe a bit heavy.
These are really nice! Design: I like the fact that they are easy to insert into the bar end, and then tighten with the allen wrench. They come with two different sized rubber collars to accommodate different internal diameters of bars. The only thing I would have different is to have no logo, or maybe a more subtle logo. The one they use is really large and obvious, especially on the white model. The bare metal screw is a nice contrast. Construction: These appear well made. They are solid metal, except for the rubber expansion sleeve that fits inside the bar. This makes for a classy look and feel, but it does make them weigh more than other, more traditional bar ends. The paint appears to be a powder coat, but I could be wrong. At any rate, it appears nice and even and looks like it should be durable. The rubber expansion collars look like a synthetic rubber that should hold up well, as well as grip the inside of the bars well. Installation: You simply slip them into the bar end and tighten the expansion screw with an allen wrench. I did not overlap the end of the bar with the tape, and then push the excess inside with the end plug, like I would do with a normal bar end plug. Instead, I carefully trim the excess with a razor blade so it has a nice fit and finish. I will see how that works, but it looks nice and everything fits well. Use: Hey, they plug the end of the bar. They should be fairly weather/sweat tight, given the rubber expansion plugs that should seal the inside of the bars pretty well. The only part that might leak is the joint around the screw. They look nice and were easy to fit. They appear very secure.

Elegant
The last time that I needed a part for my forty year old Peugeot P10, I had to salvage it from a bicycle that I keep for just such a purpose. I have ridden though a dozen European countries, and many thousands of miles on my P10. The technology has changed, but I am not about to. My original handlebar plugs had long ago vanished. I decided to get new handlebar plugs and to redo the tape. The last time that I did this was probably twenty years ago. It should not have been a surprise that my local bicycle shop did not have cloth handlebar tape. Fortunately, I was able to find Velox Tressostar Cloth Handlebar Tape and a pair of Fyxation Bar End Plugs on Amazon. The tape went on reasonably well. The plugs went in easily, although I had to dig up an allen wrench to complete the job. The plugs look great. They are perhaps a little high-tech for my bicycle, but they are really elegant. I am happy with my new handlebar tape and bar plug combination. It should be good for another twenty years. Now all I need is to have the snow and ice melt.

Eye Candy
I personally love to dress up my bikes and I like everything to match or accentuate the paint schemes. Many people don't care about the small stuff such as the cable crimps, valve caps, and bar end plugs because functionally the look doesn't really matter. I do care, however, and that sparked my search for something more elegant than the cheap, shiny plastic end caps that came with my replacement handle bar tape. After a lot of searching I finally landed on the Fyxation Bar End Plugs in anodized blue. Overall the fit and finish of these plugs are great. They were super easy to install and after several hundred miles of riding they are still firmly in place. I really enjoy the look over the plastic plugs and they will be living on my road bike for years to come. The only thing I don't like about these plugs is that the Fyxation logo is embossed on them. My personal preference would be no logos but overall I don't think it detracts too much from the looks. If you are in the market for some shiny metal bar end plugs look no further.

Great plugs
Very tight fit, not worried about these coming out on the trail. They were a little to big for my raceface next bar but because the expansion plug is rubber all I had to do was shave the diameter down with a dremel.

A bit heavy.
Compared to the plastic end bars they replace, these things are heavy jewelry. They look rather nice and will not easily come undone due to the screw pressure fit. I wouldn't recommend it to weight weenies given how much money these road bike enthusiasts are willing to pay to save a gram.

They look great, secure snug, and gentle on the bar tape (no tears)
The look great and the alloy plate feels pretty solid and sturdy. I decided to get these because the plastic end caps kept falling out and getting lost. I tried the iParaAiluRy screw-in alloy bar ends, but they wouldn't even fit inside the bar without any bar tape in the way. These fit in snugly and while the tightening mechanism is a bit finicky, it does get very tight once it does start tightening. I can't see these falling out and it should be a lot easier on the tape when removing them considering the contact point is rubber instead of jagged plastic. Instructions weren't included so I have no idea what the extra two smaller rubber pieces and two metal rings are for, but it installed just fine without them. Some others aren't happy with the paint coating so I'll be sure to update my review should they wear quickly.

Installation is very hard
It keeps slipping in the bar, very hard to hold is steady and tighten the screw and after you do manage to get it installed, it's gonne be next to impossible to install is propertionally because of the moment arm and the rubber, it's going to be twisted and petruding a little more from one side then the other.

Work well but too much text/branding
The quality of these are quite high. In fact, I am replacing a more visually appealing set with these because of that factor. The quality exceeded my expectations for the price. That being said, they have too much branding and text on them. I’d prefer none or a simple logo. I knew this part from the pictures going in, so I was not disappointed- still, some feedback to the manufacturer.

Helped lock my pogies in place.
Great bar ends, these were the only ones I could find that had 2 sizes of inserts available. I bought some new pogies for my handlebars but the bar ends that came with them were too large for my bars ends. So I grabbed these and together I can happily ride in the winter now.
