Doesn't look like the picture....

I have to admit it is a cute costume, but it doesn't look like the picture. In the picture, it looks like shredded zombie clothes, but what we received seemed to be clothes cut in places to make them look worn and weathered. The coloring was also different. The top was blueish, and the pants were brownish. In the picture, it seems to be a more uniform color throughout. That irritated me, however my son liked the fact that they didn't match because he said it was more realistic than a zombie in a matching outfit. I ordered this along with another, more expensive, costume for my son. He ultimately chose this one because it was more comfortable and detailed. We found that it runs true to size. It is very easy to put on, and it seems to be good quality. The price on this was pretty good considering the quality. (My son wore it 4 different times, and it held up to an eleven year old who isn't easy on clothes.) I would recommend this costume, but with cautions of the above mentioned issues.

Perfect for Halloween!

Useful, but not very close to the photograph

I ordered this to use in creating a Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th) costume. It served well enough for that purpose, but the costume was not as pictured on the site or on the packaging itself. This is not Amazon's fault, just the manufacturer who used a prototype photo on the package, not an actual photo of the real costume. The shirt is one piece, as are the pants which are easily worn over full clothing. The chest plate was sewn in with just small 'tears' or flaps around it. There was no sense of a shirt over it with strips of denim cloth hanging down as you see in the photo. Also, the pants and shirt look nothing like blue jeans (denim) as shown in the picture. If I can learn how to upload my own photos, I'll do so. This way you can see that it was usable enough, just not terribly close to the picture. So, be sure to purchase this only if you are interested 'in concept' not if you expect it to look exactly like the prototype displayed.

Great Costume; Bit Small; Mask is Only a Partial

The costume is very nicely done. I got many compliments on it. I'm giving it only four stars because (as other reviewers stated), the mask is only a partial and the costume is a little small (I'm about 6ft, 180lbs). The mask is literally flat (practically) and simply lays over your face. There should be strings that hold the mask to your face (which would allow you to stay cooler) or the mask should be expanded to actually fit over your head (but this would make it warmer). Since the wig can be made to have the hair fall next to your face, I think the company should opt for strings to pull the mask to your face to help keep you cooler. Other than this, it's a great creepy costume.

Bang for your buck!

Great for the price! Don't expect the best quality but for the inexpensive price it's awesome. Really cool effects sewn into the clothing. Fabric isn't at all thick so dress appropriately underneath if weather is cold. Mask/wig was flat and couldn't fit very well but you can make it work.

Reasonable for the price.

Bought in desperation, at the last minute, after being unable to find anything else at short notice. Not bad value for the price, but the fabric that the "clothes" are made is, um, well, the only way I can describe it is "very thin plastic"; it is a very thin fabric, but for some reason is fairly stiff, amd a little scratchy. The 'flesh' areas are molded plastic trays, and not very convincing. In many ways, if you have an old pair of jeans you might be better off butchering them. However, its not a bad costume overall. I wore mine together with a werewolf mask (well, why not!) as a Zombie werewolf, to a fancy dress party at our local pub. The overall effect impressed someone, as I won first prize.

Extremely poor quality

As mentioned by other reviewers this product does not match the item pictured on the package and the quality is terrible

Excellent

I have to disagree with many of the negative comments on here - this costume is excellent - it is fancy dress - but it looks really good - yes, the mask is a little rubbery - I decided not to use it as I didn't think I could wear all evening - especially as I couldn't have a drink with it on... but the hair on it is excellent and really finishes the outfit off - for the money this is excellent value - and can be reused on many occasions. Would highly recommend - and would definitely ignore the negative comments which seem to be expecting a Hollywood standard costume!!
