Nice light weight versatile belt

size SMALL belt is 37" long
This belt came with a size SMALL tag attached to the buckle. It isn't. It should have been sold as LARGE. Excluding buckle, the belt strap is 38" long. Fastened loosely around my waist, there is fully 9" of belt dangling past the (single) belt loop. My main purpose for this belt was to belt in simple dresses. It is useless for that, with close to a foot of strap flapping around in front. And BTW, I am not a particularly small person: 5'5", generally wearing a size 8 -- about average, I think. The belt is supposed to be made of leather, but I am not sure it is. Maybe. It just doesn't feel quite right. Small leather accessories often have a "Leather" or more detailed leather stamp, and all this belt has is the word INDIA stamped inside, next to buckle assembly. No reference to Frye, but I'll definitely remember never to buy anything advertised as being made by Frye again. On the whole, the stitching is good, but quality is marginal, even if it were an actual size SMALL -- which is is NOT. For example, the buckle tongue is very thin / lightweight, flat instead of round, and jiggles slightly around its bar instead of moving smoothly in/out of the fastening hole. I find it annoying to handle. This is not an item I would ever have bought, if I had seen the actual product instead of just a picture.

Fine woman's belt...
This Frye belt maintains the Frye reputation for simple and unostentatious but well-made leather products. It's a simple belt: just a large cross-hatch pattern on the leather and an interesting round buckle. But the overall look is elegant, the buckle is solid and the belt is a good-looking accessory for when you need a fine belt.

High quality leather belt
This belt is the high quality you expect from Frye. It should be an important part of my wardrobe for years. The belt buckle is very pretty -- special enough to add to the look fo the belt without being too attention-grabbing. It fits well in belt loops and closes easily.

Broke after a few months:(
Loved this belt but it already broke and I have only had it for 4 months. The stitching came apart around the piece that holds the strap. I would’ve expected better quality from this brand.

Versatile belt!
This womens Frye leather belt is beautiful! The leather is high quality and the embossing is clean. Color is true to the photos, but the belt is lighter weight than I expected. The edges are raw so they have “leather fuzz” that makes this a more rustic belt than a polished belt. I would have preferred for the edges to be sealed, but sometimes that comes with it’s own set of issues. The size is true and correct.

Rather bulky belt, but good quality.
I ordered this black belt for casual outfits to wear with pants and jeans mostly. It's bulkier than I was looking for, and rather masculine in my opinion. It is good quality. I like the design on the belt and the circle buckle seems modern. The leather is thick and very sturdy. The buckle is antique nickel. Nice belt if you are looking for something very simple, casual and substantial. Not a fit if you want something formal, sleek or feminine.
