Best whisk in the crock!
Positives 1. It's sturdy and well-balanced. 2. Lots of wires make mixing or whipping go fast. 3. Handle fits hand well and keeps it from falling down in the bowl. 4. It's narrow enough to fit in smaller bowls. 5. It's cool-looking. Negatives 1 and only. Oxo doesn't offer it in other sizes. They do, however, have some with a different handle.

It’s a tiny guy!
Yes, the measurement is in the description. I just never thought to get out a ruler. It’s small! A good, study, little whisk that makes me feel like a giant and isn’t suitable for big bowls of whisk-ables. But good for an egg or two

The little whisk that every kitchen needs
I purchased this OXO Stainless Steel 9" Whisk to replace my original OXO 9" Whisk that after turning 18 rubberized plastic handle broke. The nerve of breaking after almost daily use after becoming old enough to vote. This little whisk is my go to whisk when scrambling eggs in the morning and my first choice when whisking sauce at dinner time. It's smaller physical size makes it the perfect size for all those smaller/daily type tasks that my larger whisks are well just to large but despite it's smaller size it is has the backbone to take on jobs that you would think you would need to use a larger whisk.

Perfect size and design
This is the perfect size and stiffness whip. I've had one of these for years and was looking for another copy but I could not find it anywhere locally. I've purchased many whisks from different companies but non were as good as this one. I'm very picky about my cooking gear. Engineer for a living, food truck hobby. I make sauces and gravies to order, in small batches. This whisk is 9 inches in total length. The wire section is 4.75 inches with the perfect curve at the bottom. I'm planning to buy more before the company changes the design. They appear to be 100% stainless and clean up very well in the dishwasher. They did their homework on this design. The crimp at the wire base is raised. Food has less of a chance to be stuck in this area after cleaning. This makes other whisks in this size range obsolete. Don't hesitate. Get it before they stop selling it.

Whisks things up quickly
I love this little whisk! It works so much better and efficiently than my balloon whisk for mixing things up like eggs and batters. I've even used it to whip egg whites into foams once. (Takes some arm strength, but it technically works.) I've been using this for a while now, and I haven't had any issues with the quality. Nothing is falling apart. Just don't expect this to work well for stiff doughs because everything will get stuck. That's not the purpose of this whisk anyway. I just wish I'd gotten this sooner. I'm a very practical person and like having multiple uses for one thing, and I find this super versatile. If you're debating whether to get this, I'd say, don't be afraid to take a *whisk*.

I would almost give these a 5/5 but after a while of using them something on the inside breaks. It is still useable but it’s just a little thing.

Great sized whisk!
I love this size whisk for whisking individual cups and it’s still great for whisking in pots and bowls. It’s quality-made and sturdy. Just like with everything else, if it’s rinsed right away or soaks in water, it’s super easy to clean. And it is no problem in the dishwasher.

Small but strong
As with most OXO products, this is well built and ergonomic. It's perfect for whipping up a few eggs and cleans easily. The whisk is very firm which seems to give you better aeration when whisking.

High-quality small whisk
If you're looking for a nice whisk that'll probably last many years this one is a good pick. It's a tad pricey, but seems very well made. My one complaint is that there seems to be a small opening just above where the wires meet the handle. I'm not sure if that's intended, or if it's a manufacturing defect. I'll update this review if it becomes a problem in any way. The handle has a good bit of weight to it, but is comfortable to hold and use. I wish there was a whisk like this one, but bigger.
