Pant will rip on fist use
I rip the pant in less then an hour. The pants are just too big. The jacket lasted the 2 days I was out in the rain and it did kept my top pretty dry but it’s in pretty rough shape. Pants are done but jacket might might still be okay for 1 or 2 more rainy days. Not bad for the price I paid. Pant are trash tho.

Fits better than expected and quality is good as expected
I'm 5'11' ish and 180+ lbs. I went with medium only for the fact the large was out of stock at the time. It fits better than I thought. I can wear a long tee, heavy sweat shirt or light jacket and this will fit over fine. The pants can be pulled up high on the belly (good thing to eliminate the split up the rear) and still fit over sweats or jeans/any pants with room to spare. I bought the Frog tog ultra lite 2 knowing the negatives and plan to work with it. I researched reviews of avid hikers going months and thousands of miles with these and the complains are it gets worn out and can get snagged/ripped on branches....also can melt easily standing by a camp fire. I plan on hiking the Pacific North West on short trails for 2 weeks....I think these will go beyond what is needed for this. UPDATE: exceeded expectations and worth every penny. Multiple days and long hours tracking through the PNW wilderness in rain these performed superbly. As for being cheaply made and thin are the why these excel. Super light weight, simple design and keeps you dry. I wish I had the large for the longer arms so my hands could escape the wet and cold temps..... My wifes pair split up the back side of her pants and her suite still perfomed well. Lot's and lots of wet people on small trails commenting on our frogg toggs.

Waterproof.
Not my first pair. I use these for overnight backpacking and day hiking. They are very blousy so maybe size-down for yourself? It’s completely waterproof, but not breathable. So you’ll sweat if it’s warm. Also not very durable so don’t walk through the scrub or branches. My suit will last about a year being worn and then folded up and stuffed in the backpack before they start to lose their integrity. To check yours, hold up to the light looking from the inside of your coat, out. See pin holes? Time to replace it! The hood and cinch cord work very well and is definitely ultralight! Very popular in the backpacking community. The expensive breathable type rain jackets are OK but require periodic re-treatment and will wet-out after more than a few minutes of rain. That’s the price of making a rain jacket “breathable.“ Hard to beat this at the price point.

Not good for work
I work on the beach and needy this for a rain event. I tore the pants by bending to pick something up in the first ten minutes.

Simply the best value available in waterproof gear. Skeptical? Don't be. See below.
15 years ago on a fishing/camping trip to remote Canada a good friend brought the first Frog Toggs I ever saw. Frankly we filleted and fried him over this "paper" rain gear for a week in remote Canada. She time this week it WILL rain on us out in the boat and at camp. "yer gonna get wet Jerry you cheap cuss". Swell let it suffice to say he did NOT get wet. He stayed perfectly dry. Just as dry as those of us in $350 worth of GoreTex. Remember ladies, these cost $20 for the set (Jacket & Pant) So naturally I needed a set & have had one inhan ever since. Any drawbacks/negatives ?: Yes a few. The material is NOT Tyvek, like so many have said. It feels like Tyvek in that its is like a paper permeated with something. Its a non-woven product like Tyvek. Its a little stiff when you first get it. When it wears in its less stiff & less so when in the rain. Does it work? Yes it works as well as super expensive stuff. It just says something goofy in it instead of Patagonia, North Face or Orris. And you won't be as stylish as this other apes. They also are a but more fragile. Jerry tore the arm on a sharp branch getting out of the boat. Honestly that may have occurred no matter what jacket he had one. Who knows. But frankly I've torn just about every expensive rain suit I have bought over the years. Lots of stuff to snag camping & fishing for a week. Remember this cost $20! Positives: They are $20 for a set gang. OK if you trash them the first year, but you probably won't. Maybe keep your GoreTex cause it may be more comfortable, but have a set of these too. I am 5'11" - 175 pounds and medium fits perfectly over normal amount of cloths. If you will be wearing it over other semi heavy cloths, get a size bigger. Otherwise they run a bit on the large size assuming it is over other cloths. Buy a pair a full size larger to wear over heavy winter cloths. But remember they are a bit more fragile than some other waterproof gear. But you know not as fragile as you'd think. They actually seem to wear well in the seat and knees. This Tyvek like BREATHABLE stuff is pretty tough. Tougher than you think it will be.

Well, they ARE waterproof
…but my experience is (the pants are) one-use only. Or as I jokingly say, they’re chaps! Brought the set out for the first time when we had BIG rain. I sized up when I ordered because when I work (at a horse boarding facility), there’s no telling how many layers might be underneath! But despite the extra room, and the normal workload, the pants split right down the seam the first time I knelt down. I will attempt to repair with some duct tape & re-use. The coat worked out & held up well.

Buy something else. Looks awful, not waterproof
Totally awful. It looks dreadful. Shapeless and baggy. I bought it to wear over some "waterproof" motorcycle trousers. So with these over the top, I expected to be bone dry. When I arrived at work after 20 minutes in the rain, it looked like I'd wet myself. Waste of money. Absolute rubbish.

Good Quality Rainsuit for the Price.
Good quality rainsuit for the price. However, it could use a pocket or two, as well as an elastic type device around the ankles of the pants. I thought I would need a large size, but medium fit me perfectly with enough slack to maneuver around without the item ripping.

Trash! Buy something else
Garbage!!!! Absolute trash. Ripped after one day. I threw it out because i was so upset or I would have asked for a refund. Don’t waste your money
