Some details about this rain gear you may want to know....

If you understand what you are getting with this rain suit, I believe you will be pleased. This is a very well priced set, but it does have limitations! Think about what you want this for before you make your decision and choose accordingly and I don't think you will be disappointed :) I chose this set because I needed a lightweight rain suit for farm work in the pouring rain. I have a heavy, rubberized jacket and pants I've used prior to this purchase and, while it does keep me dry, it's so heavy that it makes chores way more difficult. Plus, the heavier material doesn't breathe like the Frogg Toggs so you end up sweating which is horrible! Here are the Pros and Cons about the Frogg Toggs (in my humble opinion) Pros: VERY affordable! Sizing is pretty accurate - I'm 5'2, 150 lbs and large busted with a tummy and the Large fits great with plenty of room, good sleeve length and about 4 extra inches in the pant length (I rolled them up) The large gives me enough room to wear sweats underneath with still enough room to move around Sturdy Zipper - Easy on and off and the "handle" is large enough to easily grab with gloves on Wide opening at the bottom of the pants - Easily handles muck boots and there is a velcro closure so you can tighten the bottom Seams - Well stitched and strong Fabric - While it may seem this "paper like" fabric would be flimsy, it is actually quite strong and the best thing is it breaths while still keeping out the rain! It is initially a bit stiff but after you wear these for a while, they soften up Cons: The fabric is rather noisy! I would not recommend these if you want to use these for anything stealthy like hunting or attempting to sneak up on a Sasquatch! It does get better with use.. Hood - I really wish they had added a bit more fabric on this hood - especially near the bottom of the hood where it shields your face on the sides. Also, if you wear a baseball cap, the hood is just a bit on the small side to be able to reach to the brim of your hat so you may find you are often tugging on the hood to pull it forward. Might not be an issue if you have a tiny, tick head but my head size is average and I found this a wee bit annoying :( POCKETS! I know...I know...this is not an expensive set but...really? How much could it really cost them to add pockets - at least to the jacket? Maybe they have a good reason why they don't like the light weight fabric may not hold up or they are trying to keep the price of the set down but really...I would pay an extra $10 for this set if they added pockets!!! It's just really annoying to have to either pull the jacket up to get to the pockets in your sweatshirt underneath or unzip the jacket to get to the pockets. Seems like a no brainer to add them but, again, the price reflects what you are getting I guess Overall, I really like this set and I'm glad I got it! For what i use it for, it's great. I don't know how well this fabric would hold up for heavy use like brush clearing, but for keeping you dry for light to moderate chores, backpacking, camping or walking, this is wonderful! these were bought for a motorcycle trip to add a waterproof layer to protective gear. they were well-tested in heavy rain over many hours, and i stayed dry. layered under my jacket, rather than over, they functioned as a wind-cheater layer. so 5 stars for doing what i needed them to do. they were on the small side; if i were reordering i would size up. if you aren't thin, i would size up. if you have medium to large bone structure, i'd size up. if you need thick layers underneath, i'd size up. you get the picture... my frog toggs survived our trip and will be used again. my husband's (same brand) tore during use, and had to be replaced. his had a different fabric; mine feel papery but robust whereas his were very thin and soft of softer feeling, so perhaps that explains our different experiences. they are definitely a "handle with care" kind of garment, which is unfortunate when one is trying to drag them on quickly over motorcycle boots and padded gear. however, they do fold up pretty compactly and can double as a wind resistant layer as well as rain gear, so there's that. as an entry level product they work fine, and if you only need them occasionally and/or for non-strenuous activity, they may be all you need. for motorcycle use, or in continuously wet climates/weather, a specialty rain gear set may be worth the investment.

No pockets

There are no pockets. I use it work on the farm and need to carry items.

Would have worked but....

Pants fit fine over jeans. The jacket was good from the waist up. Hip level it was tight. I felt that if I gained even a pound I wouldn’t be able to zip it up without damaging the jacket. I’m 5’4” 129lbs. Good material would have been perfect for hiking or any outdoor rainy day. Had to return it though due to the poor fit at hips.

Generous sizing

I am 5'4", 110 lbs. I sized up to a medium so it would fit over my armored motorcycle jacket and pants. Just right! If I were buying this to wear over regular clothes, I think the small would still be roomy. I like the stow-away hood and elastic draw-cord at the bottom of the jacket. Velcro closures on the pant legs should help keep water out. The zippers and snaps on the jacket are good quality. I'd say these are a good value for the money. Hopefully they will keep my gear from getting saturated when I have to ride in the rain.

Color Purple Much Lighter Than Advertised

I assumed the product would be the color advertised in the picture. It is more lilac than grape.

Pretty water proof

Repurchased this because husband lost my 1st pair somewhere. My first set came with a bag I was a little disappointed that the company/seller didn’t include the bag this time. Not the most comfortable as is pretty stiff but not sure what else would be as waterproof.

Love these!

Was not entirely sure what the product would be like, I just started a job landscaping and the guys at work highly recommended these. I love them not only did they keep me dry but also warm on a cold rainy and windy day!

No pockets in jacket

You wouldn't think pockets would be important but they are when your a tourist traveling around taking photos in the rain. You can't just grab your phone take a quick shot and put it away. Also I'd recommend sizing up there's zero give in the fabric. But nice color and lightweight so little space needed for traveling. You also want thr extra room to layer under.

Not Worth It

Used them in the rain for a bike trip. The waterproof is fantastic & the suit is comfy but unfortunately the pants melted from the heat of the bike. Was not impressed with that. Would not buy them again

Great, very light rain suit, very thin but seems to be holding up.

Very, very thin material but it worked great in the rain. Very easy to pack in your knapsack, I walk to work and it's excellent for quick protection from the rain, both heavy and light showers. If you want a heavy wearing suit, I would not recommend this one.
