Tearing early
Its not that durable. I use mine to carry a water bottle and a few other small items, no more than 10lbs on my back. The straps are already starting to tear away from the bag. I dont even do much with it, i wear it to my car and then to my office. It does fold up into itself though which is pretty cool

Small and mighty
This bag is fantastic! I have several packable bags because they're so useful and such a great deal. They also usually fit me better than heavier bags do. I love them. Packable bags aren't designed to protect your laptop or bounce back from a 30-foot fall or whatever. They're designed to be ultra-light, ultra-compact storage that you can keep with you at all times in case you need it, or that you can take on an airplane when nothing else will fit. You won't be happy with any of these bags if you expect them to be a totally different type of backpack than they're meant to be. Like I said, I have a bunch of them, and this is the best of the group if you don't need a bigger bag. I'm using it as a dog park and dog hike bag. I carry two liters of water, one in each side mesh pocket; flashlights, safety lights and batteries; poop bags; a basket muzzle; a short Chuck-It and three Max Glow balls; a large bag of training treats; a Pup Cup; sanitizer; Kleenex; etc. (I'm also using the top front pocket as a poop bag dispenser.) I have a bunch of room left over so I could put in lunch and a sweater for me or my large dog. So it's a small bag but it holds more than enough stuff for many, many activities. I usually carry a big Kelty daypack on dog hikes and park trips, and this bag is just a thousand times better. It's more comfortable, it is way lighter and feels even lighter than it is because it's so comfortable, it doesn't cover so much of my back (will be way better in summer), it's smaller so I don't overpack, etc. I'm glad it's not bigger. I do wish Franklin had made it clearer how big the bag is so people could choose the right bag more easily and not be disappointed. I have about a 49" chest and I have no issues with the sternum strap. You can move it up or down as needed to accommodate your chest or neck. I'm really glad this bag has a sternum strap. It's way more comfortable than the ones on most of my non-packable bags and it keeps the straps from sliding down the shoulders of my raincoat. My other packable bags don't have sternum straps at all. (BTW the sternum strap whistle doesn't work.) There's a fair bit of reflective tape and there are great little compression straps on the sides of the bag. My other bags don't have these features, either. It's just a really well thought out, well constructed bag. I love the design of this bag but it does have a couple of flaws: Mostly I really wish it had some webbing loops on the front so I could hang things from them. I hang a few things on my bag no matter which activities I'm doing, and the middle front of the bag is the best place, so they don't drag on the ground or flip over the top between your back and the bag. I wish they'd added a blinky loop too. Otherwise, excellent bag! I'm so glad I got it!

A transformer.. from little bag to great day bag.. this little pack is full of surprises.
Very portable pack. Folds into it's own self store bag and unfolds into a nice day pack. It's "A Transformer"... :-) When I first got the pack I was a bit surprised by its narrow width. After a little testing, I was amazed what could fit in it. Of you are looking for a beach pack or a travel day pack, this pack is worth considering. Straps are wide with lots of attachment points. Has a full chest strap. All strap attachment points are reinforced. This is a light weight pack with some heavy duty features. Two points of concern. The zippers are lighter weight then I would like to see them and the zipper pulls are small. Wish they had included string pulls on them. The other issue is the zipper seal flap. It keeps getting jammed under the zipper shuttle. Overall a very usable pack especially if you are traveling with a suitcase but need to have a day pack available.. enjoy!!!! :-)

Perfect packable backpack
The media could not be loaded. This packable backpack (say that 3 x’s fast!) is a really useful item to have on hand. As soon as I saw it I thought it would be perfect to take on a trip I have planned for the summer. The small front pocket, when turned inside out, serves as the pouch which you fold the bag into. As you can see by the video attached, you don’t need to be perfectly neat in order to fold it back into there, which is very nice. And I like that it’s not actually a pouch separate of the backpack itself. It seems to be made of ripstop material which is sturdy enough but not so much that you would be able to carry, say, 5 school books or hiking up Everest. I don’t know that it would hold up long under that kind of weight/use. But it’s perfect for my purposes. I want to be able to carry some bottled water, my wallet, sunscreen and maybe some other light essentials when I go sightseeing. This seems like it will fit all of that and a bit more. One pic shows the inside room available after already putting 2 bottles of water in it. All in all, In my humble opinion, it’s great. It’s just what I was looking for and I feel lucky to have been offered the chance to review it. Thank you ????

Very very small!
Its so small! Perfect for a day hike or a few hours to throw your wallet and keys in, and maybe a power bar and a couple small items. Its got 2 side pockets for water bottles. Just beware this is not a pack for serious hiking. I gave it to my son (Pictured. He's 10) for when we go on park hikes for a few hours tops. He can throw his binoculars, compass and pocket knife in there and carry his own water. Great for him, not something my husband or I would use. Seems to be well made though.

LEEEETLE day pack
This is a little pack that's just right for, I dunno, a snack, a hand towel, some insect repellent? It's quite small, but nice to have your hands free, and low weight for when you don't want to deal with much. Great for a day hike or rock climbing.
