Handy tool - good for detail work
These icing bottles are a handy tool for decorating your baked goods. The little bottles especially are great for detail work on cookies and cupcakes. Much easier to handle and give you more control than a piping bag when you're working on small areas. They don't hold as much icing as a piping bag, but I don't mind refilling when I need to, and often don't ice detail work in such huge quantities anyway. I haven't had any problems with leaking. I haven't had any caps or couplers crack on me, but I am careful about putting them on and not twisting too tight. I haven't tried out the large bottle with icing yet, but I have filled it with various items like raspberry sauce to garnish cakes and other desserts. As long as the sauce is smooth and not very hot, the bottle works great. I hand wash these and use either a small bottle brush or a paper towel on the end of the handle of a wooden spoon (whatever's handy) to clean inside.

Great For Cookie Decorators!
I don't bake and decorate cookies nearly as often as I would like, but when I do royal icing for sugar cookies, I need a good quality squeeze bottle for the icing. The Fox Run Set of 3 Icing Bottles were recommended to me by a cookie decorating friend. I haven't been disappointed by these at all. They work really great. The set includes one big bottle with a tip color, which holds a lot of royal icing (perfect for "flooding" your cookies). The two smaller bottles hold less icing but I still get a lot of details drawn on cookies before I have to refill. The tips come off these bottles and there are screw-on caps so that the icing can be stored in the fridge for at least a few days. I highly recommend these bottles for cookie decorators!

A Labor Of Love
I bought these icing bottles in anticipation of using Royal Icing for the first time and decorating cut-out cookies (also a first time experience) utilizing the "edge" and "flood" techniques. After researching just HOW to use the icing, I figured I got it down pat. After getting the consistency right, getting the icing into the bottles proved to be the next trick. Using a funnel was worthless--the icing stuck to the funnel and didn't flow. I thought to spray the funnel with cooking spray, but I was afraid of the introduction of the grease and how it would affect the icing. So, I used a GLASS measuring cup and 'helped' it along with a rubber spatula. Still, not the easiest, but easier. I was frustrated on trying to get them actually FILLED--as a bubble of air trapped in them made the icing pop and flow over the edge. The smaller bottle and it's tip is perfect for the edging. They are soft to squeeze and once you get the hang of it, you can practically write your signature with them. I was feeling confident. One inherent problem is that they are SMALL...the small bottle holds 1/3 of a cup--do you know how many times you have to refill that for a single batch of cookies? Many. I made about 5 dozen large cookies, and I had to refill those bottles about 5x each. The larger "flood" bottle holds about 12 ozs--which is adequate for getting a good number of cookies covered, and with it's larger opening, much, much easier to fill One problem with the "edge" bottle is the screw-down collar is FRAGILE. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN IT. One out of the 2 bottles' collar has already broken--and I am not hard on my tools. Now, I am down to one edging bottle from this kit. All of them are super soft and easy to use. All of them seem almost 'non-stick'--the icing slips right out of them. They are easy to clean by letting them soak in a bowl of hot soapy water for a while. All in all, they are an OK product--just wish the components that would get the most wear--notably the screw-on collar--were of a more durable quality.

I love these!!!
I love these! I wanted a nice drizzle on homemade candy and chocolate covered strawberries. I love that any of my decorating tips fit perfect. They aren’t easy to clean but oh well. I will invest in a baby bottle brush.

Works great for cookie decorating!
I bought this so my sister and I could try to decorate our Christmas cookies using royal icing. We used the smaller two bottles for the edging and the larger bottler for the flooding. To fill the smaller bottles, we just scooped a heap of frosting onto a spoon, and then just lit it drip inside, tapped the container on the counter a bit to let it settle, and repeated until it was full. The icing for the bigger bottle was runnier, so we were able to pour it in right from the mixing bowl. Could have used a funnel I guess, but didn't bother with one. I'd say these little bottles were well worth the price. They're easy to clean, and it beats buying all the bags and tips for the pastry bag technique! I definitely recommend them. Very happy.

Missing pieces
This was advertised as a set of 3. One 8 oz and two 2oz bottles. The outer packaging had no damage but the inner package was open and only contained one 8 oz and one 2 oz bottle. I am a little disappointed.

I love the small bottles
I love the small bottles!! don't ever use the tips that came with the product but find that all any of my tips work well with the coupler. On the other hand, I don't love the larger bottle. I only use it when I am flooding large volumes of cookies but since the larger bottle does not have the same coupler, it can only be used with the lid as shown. I find the opening is too large to do any delicate work. Too bad this item isn't a set of 4 smaller bottles, or the larger bottle isn't made the same as the smaller.

Good-but arrived damaged
I love these bottles for cookie decorating, especially the 2 smaller ones for the finer details. However, I was disappointed that one of the couplers arrived split apart. Could have damaged in shipping but not sure. It would have been impossible to use the included decorating tip without it. Luckily, the coupler is the same size as the ones used with regular stainless steel decorating tips and I have plenty of those...crisis averted.

Excellent product
This is my second purchase because I enjoyed the first set so much. Everything arrived fast and in perfect order. Amazing to use for decorating and making fiddly candy transfers. Recommend!

Great for cookie decorating with Royal Icing
These are so easy to use. The mouth of the bottle is wide enough to get the Royal Icing easily. Easy to fill and to clean. Love the coupler with the icing tip too!

Work great but red plastic tip can leech it’s coloring
I bought these to put cannabis coconut oil into capsules but after one day of using one then leaving oil in it to use later but when I went to use it later I took the red cap off the bottle then noticed the red coloring of the cap was leaching all over the tip of the bottle so I wiped off the red leeching then finished using the oil. I through the red caps on the garbage and now just use an electric band and plastic wrap to store it. Other than that they work great for my purpose.

Great containers for icing of any consistency! I love that it's really easy to clean also. It's very beginner "ice" friendly. Will buy more of these for sure.
