Ok, but not the best
*This is going to be very long, due to my thorough testing of various brands, but the information learned is worth it if you want to save money/save environment/save yourself a ton of trouble* Two factors that lead to my experiments with various brands of pee pads: 1.I’m poor, and I wanted to find the most economical/“bang for my buck” brand and 2. I work long hours and have two VERY large dogs that normally get taken out to potty, but are also trained to go on pee pads if nobody is home and they have to go. Let me tell you- these guys produce as much urine per pee as a large beer-drinking adult male lol. Needless to say, I’ve tried many different brands to see if they’re up to the task, and I’ve had to clean up SO many overflows, even if I do 2 or 3 layers of disposable pee pads. So far, the Simple Solution “All Day” variety (NOT the regular kind) have been the absolute best at absorbing the largest quantity of urine without leaking for their size. I’ve also done my own tests to measure the max limit of cups of water each brand can absorb, and the “All Day” pads by Simple Solution far out-absorb their competitors. I could get a full 8 cups before it started overflowing or leaking. The next best brand was Four Paws “Wee Wee Pads”, but their normal pads and their “extra absorbent” pads had VERY little difference in the actual quantity of water absorbed. 2.5-3 cups in regular vs 3.5 in the extra absorbent. Psh. But they did perform better and prevent more leaks than a bunch of other lower end pads I tried. After a few months of buying pee pads and seeing how many trash bags I filled up each week, tossing them out each day, I felt so guilty for the constant amount of plastic waste that it was producing, and I also got tired of paying for another box of pads each week! So I forayed into the world of washable pee pads. There are an endless number of brands and some are labeled for people (bedwetting children or the elderly, etc) and some labeled for pets, but as far as how they function and their absorbency, THERES NO DIFFERENCE except the ones for pets may have a cute bone pattern. (Some claim they have an attractant, but my dogs peed on whatever I put in the area they were used to having pee pads in, so I can’t verify). I tried multiple brands of reusable pads, with a wide variety of quality and absorbency (some were just complete trash) but the absolute BEST one that I found was the IMPROVIA reusable underpad. Unlike others I tried, it has special channels that wick the wetness to the outer edges, where the fabric ALLOWS THE WATER PORTION TO EVAPORATE. WTF!? I was skeptical as always, but after putting it out during the day, when I came home it almost felt dry! Not soaked and heavy like the other brands I had tried. Not only that, but it didn’t stink of pee in the house, either! It blew my mind! Now of course, it has its limits, but so far I’ve even had the dogs use it for a few days in a row before washing it, and it’s blown me away with its absorbent capabilities and the evaporation function. And after washing in the machine, it air dries in an hour (as opposed to other brands, that come out heavy and soaked and take days to air dry). I’m not a bot, nor do I get paid for any of this info (but once again, I’m poor, so hey, Improvia, if you want to send a little money my way for raving about you to every pet owner I run into, that would be great! Lol). But really, I’m just a pet owner who wants to pass on some helpful info, and also encourage others to pick something more environmentally friendly than disposable pee pads. You don’t have to be a hippie to want to help the planet that you live on- every little thing you do counts! So I say, give the reusable kind a try. If you hate them, no big deal- it’s Amazon- just return them! But you might find that they’re actually better than the disposables, and will save you so much money! And if that happens, all I say is “pass the message along”! (And mark this review as ‘helpful’ so it can be seen by more people) :D TLDR: Best disposable- Simple Solution “All Day” variety. Better option- IMPROVIA reuseable pads (last all day and then some!) Will save you hundreds of dollars in a short amount of time, and will also help the planet :)

not sure if it has more to do with our dog ... but it works
Once upon a time, we bought these while we had a puppy over at our place for about a week ... didn't work then. We'd put the puppy on the wee wee pad, she wouldn't go. Would walk over to a part of our carpet immediately afterwards and go there. We kept wee wee pads on one tiled part of the apartment, but she was totally disinterested. Thought the wee wee pads were a total waste of money. Then we got our own dog, a brilliant mini schnauzer. We placed two of these on our very small patio and blocked off the space we didn't want him to go on. We also put aPoochieBells Solid Classic Black Dog Potty Training Doorbell on our door and rang the bells each time before opening the door and then he'd go outside and pee on the pads. Soon he was hitting the bells with his paw or nose to let us know when he had to go outside. Leaks were rare, it was easy to fold them up and put them in a garbage can, no complaints there. We didn't count on them working in one corner inside the house because that didn't work with the other dog. We figured that having him go on the patio on top of wee wee pads was a better idea. And it was. Within a month, he got the bells, within two months, he was ringing the bells and going on the pads outside 100% of the time. The real magic happened when we took him outside the house. This was before we could take him to the park (or really any grass) because he still didn't have all his shots and we lived in San Francisco, in a very very dog-heavy neighborhood with a dog hospital nearby. We would take him to friends' houses, and we would put a wee wee pad on the floor of a kitchen or bathroom. He'd go right on the wee wee pad. In fact, he would hold in his pee and act all uncomfortable until we opened up a wee wee pad and put it on the floor. He would dart to the wee wee pad, sniff and circle around on it, then pee. Incredible. We'd put a wee wee pad on a bench. He'd pee on the wee wee pad on the bench. A couple of times, we were in a moving car. A MOVING CAR. We'd put a wee wee pad on the backseat. While the car was moving, he would pee right in the middle of the wee wee pad in the backseat, like a champ. He traveled across the Pacific Ocean with me in a plane cabin. We went to the bathroom, I put down a wee wee pad. He peed on the wee wee pad in the airplane bathroom. When we got off the plane, I put a wee wee pad down in a bathroom stall in the airport bathroom. He peed right on the wee wee pad wherever I set it down in the large bathroom stall. Amazing. We moved to a new apartment and I was worried because we had a much, much bigger patio. I had no way of blocking off the area that I didn't want him to go on. I was very worried we'd just end up with a big mess all over the patio. He proved me wrong. I set four wee wee pads on one end of the patio. Our dog rings the bell, goes outside, then walks over to the wee wee pads to pee (and poo) every. single. time. It's unbelievable. He completely ignores the part not covered by wee wee pads as just not an option for relieving himself. The last time I opened a 150-pack was in February. It is now August and we're still not done with the box. I think we may not need to replenish until September. It's crazy. Love these wee wee pads. Don't know how we'd handle this guy with our busy schedules without them. I just really wish that they were more eco-friendly ... Still, thanks to these, being dog owners has been so much easier.

Best value, high quality...they work!!!
Being the owner of 4 rescue dogs, I have come to rely on Four Paws Wee Wee Pads. As you can imagine, training four dogs of various ages requires using a lot of these pads. First, to address the cost...one simply cannot find a better deal on a high quality product. This package is the most economical one to buy, with similar items costing at least double in Pet or Department stores. I highly recommend not wasting your time or money on so called no name "cheap" brands as they don't perform as well. Second, absorption is superb. To avoid leaks, if you use more than one, overlap them as the 1 inch or so edge does not provide a barrier to the floor. Once in a while, there seems to be moisture that gathers underneath the pad; this isn't a leak and has something to do with the amount of "liquid" left on the pad. So, another suggestion is that once your pet gets used to a certain location, place a piece of plastic underneath that is a bit larger than the pad itself. I recommend doing this if you are placing pads on the carpet. Third, the scent that is applied to the pads works wonderfully. A few weeks ago, we adopted our 4th rescue, a small Maltese. This little guy had never been outside, worn a collar or used a leash, and was not house trained. I have had him for several weeks now and he was able to find the scented pad (humans can't smell the scent) right away and has not had one single accident. I might add also that Maltese are one of the most difficult dogs to house train. All of my dogs (2 Westies, 1 Min-Pin, 1 Maltese) are now house trained, but I still rely on the pads when I leave the house to avoid accidents. All of my dogs will use only the pads in the event of an emergency. Once my Vet Tech recommended using the pads, I searched for the best quality for the best price and found it on Amazon.

Best on the market
While living in the U.S., this was undoubtedly the best wee wee pad on the market and extremely affordable. After moving to the UK, I tried some local brands to save money but they just didn't compare - totally thin & leaky with always a pool of pee underneath them every time. I decided to bite the bullet and pay extra to get the Four Paws brand imported from the U.S. and lo and behold, it was worth it. Can't beat the quality of Four Paws when it comes to wee wee pads!

No guardan la pipi
The media could not be loaded.

The media could not be loaded.

Search for the BEST Shall Continue ...
I bought these twice. First time, somehow things appeared promising. No leakage and no tracking (or little) or I thought so! 2nd order, I am not sure what's going on. Using an ultraviolet flashlight purchased from Amazon, I see some leaking going on! AND ... when my little pup walks away, he carries his pees all over the floor!
