Sturdy readers…

Getting older and needed readers for closeup reading. Tried other readers and found them uncomfortable and rather bendy. Found these actually a few years ago. Bought a few pairs for around the house and at work. If you need readers you know why I bought a few pairs, lol. Recently lost a pair and bought a new pair. Have to say the quality is a bit less than the older pairs. These make noise when you clean the glass. The glass is slightly loose in the frame making a worrying sound like the glass could come out of it. The nose ‘pads’ make noise too, just a rattling noise. Both of these things didn’t/don’t happen with my older pairs. The ones I bought a few years ago have taken abuse (dropping, falling asleep and rolling over on them, etc.) and the frames soldier on like nothing happened. I hope this new pair actually can stand up to my daily abuse like their older brethren. Probably will, but I am disappointed in the drop in manufacturing quality. That’s the only reason why I didn’t give this pair five stars.

Nice, but not retail - no protective foam pouch

I've bought these in the past @ a retail store for more $$. The frames seem to be the same as retail version, sans the protective foam pouch. During the delivery phase, the frames were bent out of shape some, but I could bend it back with pliers and a towel with no damage.

Good Quality Glasses

The glasses are of good quality and fit my face well. The shipping was also fast !

Careless

Did not come with a case or cleaning cloth as stated. And was packaged in an envelope with bubble wrap at could have been secured in a small box. Lucky they didn't brake

Good readers

Good refraction, Appears durable (if I don’t sit on them). Conservative appearance when worn. I would buy them again.

Nice glasses

They work as described. The reason for the one star deduction is that they spring loaded arms are not as good as other Foster Grant readers I have had. They are constantly falling down my nose & should I be bending over they consistently fall completely off.
