Came with torn shoulder

Seems sturdy enough. The product did have a torn shoulder seam right of the bat, but probably can be sewn closed.

It came very wrinkly so I had to iron it which is not recommended but it turned out ok. I thought the straps looked cheesy and it was hard to figure out how to make them look like the picture. That being said, a few people thought it was a real straight jacket which is funny. It at least had the desired effect and for the price it was very good. The jacket is a one size fits all, I am a 5'9" woman, 150 lbs and it was pretty big on me, lots of extra material. I just overlapped it in front and tried to get the straps tighter. The straps mostly snap on with a few buckles to hook them across the jacket. Oh and the straps are too long, probably because the jacket was so big on me.

Returned without being able to use

Purchased for Halloween costume but had to return it right away. Didn't get to use. It was missing a snap in one sleeve. No biggie, other snaps were still intact, but still a defect. The material was equivalent to a burlap sack. That was main reason for return, and it was standard size (which had 42 on package) but it was very snug, making the burlap feel more intense on skin. Not worth the money spent.

“STRAIGHT” Up Excellent Product

Very good quality and durable. Used multiple times for a high energy level performance and it held up beautifully! Straps, although not real leather, look like it even up close. One snap came off, but, as I stated, it was a very high energy performance and for it to hold together multiple times under those conditions and only one snap come out, should say enough about the quality, especially because it was not advertised to be used for that purpose!

Good for a cheap costume

Minuses - Fit is small up to 42" chest, but would still be tight. Cheap snaps but they aren't even used. No instructions on how to use the straps. Pluses - Cotton fabric is nice and has a solid feel to it. Color is off white for that institutional feel.

Perfect for a Halloween costume just be aware that you actually can’t move your arms with it on completely

This jacket is available for significantly less on other sites and was not a good buy.

Jacket may look adequate from a distance but as you get closer you can see it is very cheaply made. For egress the belts are attached with Velcro but it is insufficient to retain any amount of tension on the buckles. This gives the jacket a sagging look and more often than not the buckles/belts detach and are left dangling. This jacket is available for significantly less on other sites and was not a good buy.
