Great grooming scissors

We have a coated German Shepherd. Because his coat is longer, including hair around his toe pads,it requires that the longer hair around the toe pads be kept trimmed back so that the hair does not collect debris and will not get caught in a rotary tool nail grooming device.We purchased the 6-1/2" scissors and they have proven to be an excellent length for maneuvering around the toe pads.The blades have a good sharp edge and do not seem to bind as long as you are making normal cuts and they seem to handle coarser hair with no difficulty. I like that the tip of the scissors is slightly rounded so that if you happen to touch a tender area on the toes, the dog does not feel that they are being stuck with a sharp point.These scissors are a good size to use on larger dogs.Scissors were packaged well and arrived in good condition in a timely manner. They have a nice leatherette sheath to keep them in.

Miracle Coat Grooming Shears

I purchased these shears because automatic clippers wouldn't go through my dogs thick hair. The shears were very sharp and tight fitting, which eliminated the need to go back over areas already trimmed. The shears appear to be manufactured well and I feel they are high quality. I really like these shears

I really like these shears. Since I am not a professional groomer I don't know enough as to why I would spend 4 times this amount on another pair. I have three long haired dogs and the last pair I purchased lasted me about 5 years (of very rough use)

I had to call to inquire about returning the first shears they were more dull than the ones I was replacing . The vendor responded quickly & shipped another pair for me to try( which were sharp) and said if not satisfactory they would issue a full refund. When the new shears were acceptable they told me not to bother returning the first pair. I couldn't ask for better service.

Miracle coat Philipino Grooming Shears - 8 inch

Have been forced to give my adopted rescue poodle/mix his monthly hair cuts. He was abused (1 broken leg- 5 fractures - healed on their own - and two new fractures. He literally screams when I took him to the dog groomer. He trusts me now and I can groom him without upsetting him. I now have a set of good grooming scissors - and this is one that I will use over and over. I tried the standard shears from petco and petsmart , but they just don't work as well as these Miracle Coat Shears that I have. And they are cheaper than Petco or Petsmart. Very Pleased.

Not bad.

Works fine. Curved is great. Blunt ends would have been better. I wasn't paying close attention when I ordered or would have made sure of blunt ends. We use on a small little yorkie. She moves a lot even with the grooms noose on! Sharp enough. Just fine for the price.

These shears were rather dull and I have yet to be able to get a good cut from them but I've waited too long to return them and even go through that hassle. They do appear to be well made and are very nice looking.

looks pretty but dulled quickly

Screw is too loose so shear keeps moving out of alignment. Also seemed to dull after only a few uses. I think the Conair shears have a better edge but I'm not sure they make curved blades

Wrong item sent...twice!!

I've had Miracle Coat scissors before and loved them. Unfortunately I lost my pair and ordered another through Amazon. They sent Miracle Coat thinning shears. I sent them back for a replacement and received...Miracle Coat thinning shears again. Not sure what the problem is on their end.

Highly recommend-Miracle Coat 3035

This order arrived super fast and well packed. This shear can definitely do a good job. I have been using the same pair of hair-cutting shears for people use for the last six years for my Chow Chow. Never used a curved grooming shear before but this Miracle Coat is sharp enough to trim/cut my Chow Chow's thick coat and easy to use. Work so well for grooming your own dog. One thing to mention is it is made in China, not Japan, the quality of the shear is good but the case is kind of flimsy.

A good deal for the price

Although made in Japan these shears were sharp and do a good job. The case is good quality and fits the shears well. The fact that they are rounded tips is a great saftey aspect as you don't have to worry about stabing you pet if it starts to dance around(as they all like to do). I would reccomend these shears to any groomer

Not very sharp. There is always a premium on pet products, try a good pair of human sheers, would be a fraction of this cost
