Good paint, bad delivery spill

Good paint. Not good when you get only 3/4 of the paint. Because it was all over the box! Who the heck puts this is the package? 1. Learn to tighten the lid, 2. put in a bag, 3. Put some packaging so it doesn’t bounce around! If I didn’t need it so bad, I would have sent it back!

Great quality for the price

This paint is REALLY great! I wish I had more than one other brand to compare it to, but the other brand I used was MUCH pricier and I really couldn't tell a difference in quality or ease of use. I was very nervous to try my first big project (my "new to me" dining room table) but after starting I really enjoyed it and it was much easier than expected. I have a solid, heavy wood table, The table top and seat of the chairs are stained wood which I have left alone for now. The table base, and the chair backs and legs were already white which was what I needed to paint since they were horribly stained and chipped over years of use with a home full of children and pets. - I first washed down my table to get off any stains or spills that had built up over many years of use. - I did not do any sanding - I painted two coats of paint (ending each stroke light, and in the same direction) onto each of the four chairs and the table base I can not believe how much paint I have leftover after doing two coats. I have AT LEAST 3/4 of the jar left over. The paint is nice and smooth with no streaks. It is a little more stark white than I was hoping for, but after reading other reviews I am hoping that a layer of wax will tone it down a bit. My next step is to apply the wax to seal, and I will be on to do my bar stools since I have sooooo much paint leftover. The only two cons I have are 1. The starkness of the white and 2. How quickly the paint dries. I believe the dry-time is much faster with most chalk paints, but you have to continually stir to make sure a film does not develop on the top. With the second coat, I poured paint into a separate container so I wouldn't have to worry as much about this.

Thicker than Annie Sloan, same as Old White

This is almost identical to the Annie Sloan color antique white or old white. A. S. Was back ordered and I needed to finish my bedroom furniture that I started over a year ago. It is thicker than AS and seems to have a bit more brush strokes and need multiple layers. Some places on my dark wood furniture still have light brown showing thru. You have to make sure you have good lighting while painting. This shad also has a slight green hue to it. Probably not noticeable unless you look at it next to AS but seeing as I already had a piece in AS and the rest is in this paint, my husband noticed. It doesn’t keep me from loving the outcome. Very happy that my furniture is done and it lightened up the whole room and gave it a fresh and updated look. The large dresser was done in AS and the other pieces are in this paint. I did touch up the top of dresser and a couple of spots along the bottom. You can’t really tell a difference.

GREAT PAINT

This paint is great. I had originally bought a top of the line brand at a big box hardware store, but a different colour. I decided I wanted black instead. This brand I could get in black, it was thick,well covering, beautiful finish, no brushstrokes left behind, and cheaper. I used it on my bathroom vanity to go over an older oak finish, I then put on a coat of varathane. Looks stunning. May now do my kitchen cabinets myself, after getting a $3300 quote to get someone to spray them.

Good constituency and good colour. Will need a top coat for protection. Covering light grey chairs. Wish I had picked a different colour. Sheepskin is very light. I thought it would have been slightly more antique whit like my dining room table

Super pour les meubles!

Je suis très satisfaite de cette peinture que j'utilise chaque jour sur différents meubles. Très grand pouvoir cachant et je termine avec une couche de finition (vernis, cire, etc) qualité prix wow!
