These really help
These are exactly what I need - if only I could get 12 size Large instead of the assortment. I can only use 4 and the rest are too small or too big. I'm thinking of buying an ace bandage in the dollar store and making my own.

They work!
I agree the seam is in the way. BUT I have bad arthritis in my fingers. Had to have several straighten. These sleeves are just the right amount of compression to take the pain away. And I just got a needle an thread and sewed the seam down!

Helped with cuts from crocheting with small thread
I bought this because when I was crocheting with small yarn, it was cutting my finger. This helped me a lot because it made a barrier for my finger!

Disc golf
I use this for playing disc golf. Some of the throws i cause the disc to slide off my middle finger. After a while, that raises a blister. Putting on the sleeve first eliminates that issue.

Too tight
All the sizes way too tight according to my OT. The small size must be for a child. Not sure they would be therapeutic for a dislocation. They seem durable, however.

Not for those with large hands (3.5" across palm)
I have large hands (my palm is 3.5" across) and wear women's xl size gloves. Finger sleeve was a little difficult to get on and within minutes it was cutting off the circulation and the tip of my ring finger was turning purple. I'm looking for some compression (much like an ankle sleeve), but this isn't it.

You have Arthritis
These worked wonders on my one finger with Arthritis. Upper knuckle inflamed, painful. I kept it on day and night and after a while helped tremendously Was able to take off for a couple day. While wearing had no problem working on the computer. Even if I got it wet I just placed a towel on to absorb the moisture. Only issue I have is the stitching started to unravel. I just pulled and broke and stopped the unraveling. The box comes in an assortment of sizes for all fingers. Wish they had an option of buying a box of larges because when you have Arthritics your fingers are swollen. Overall a GEAT produce!!!! M. Carlson

A very handy item for Families & people playing Sports. UPDATE
Amazons prices are on the high side for this item especially if of the four sizes you only have a use for two of the sizes for my thumbs. They should offer these as individual sizes in packages of 25. I have found this item by Flents a very handy item for fingers or thumbs as they last much longer than cots do and provide a firmer support. I find them comfortable to wear for extended periods and they slip on and off easily. Remember to use the right size as the medium large fits well on my thumbs but at times I need the large size. They will fit snugly and shoud but should not cut off or retard circulation. Think of these as an Ace bandage for thumbs and fingers as the are made out of a similar material and do provide good support. I have been using them for about a year now but I have to find someplace cheaper to get them as I only use 7 out of the 12 in a package. I have seen them on the net for $3.83 which is a savings of $2.05 a package. Search around as they could be handy if you have a spouse or children who could use the sizes you don't need. If you are curious about these check with your local pharmacy but call first to see if they carry them and expect to pay about $6.50 in a store. ********************** UPDATED 09/18/2013 ********************** I have been using these since 2007 and I did notice the problem of the sewed seam beginning to unravel. I solved that minor problem using a method that someone else suggested(I think in one of the reviews of an email to me). I bought some Super Glue(not gel type) and put a little on each end of the seam. I wore one pair with this fix for about three weeks now with no unravelling. Now they are even better because I don't have to buy as often which makes up for the fact that I have no use for the two smaller sizes. All they need to do now is to sell them according to size. I need the two larger sizes as I have a supply of the smaller if I should ever need them. I do not downgrade my review but I Thank the person who made the suggestion. Tim

poor quality
The finger sleeves do help with the swelling but unfortuately the seams start opening up after one wear and some of the sleeves are so narrow that you would have difficulty fitting a finger into them. It states 12 each but it is in fact 12 in total. Delivery took 3 weeks.
