Good for the price. Used for both hair cutting and bench work
Have been looking for a stool that can be used in mud room for kid hair cutting and bench work stool (I set up a small one for some casual crafting) This is the one that suits my need best after about a week's searching. At full height, the seat rises to 30-31inch, though you can tell it sags 1-2inch when an adult sits on. Back support is just ok, not on the very comfortable side but works for my need. Assembly is easy and straightforward. It came with five threaded foot pads. In case you want to switch to wheels, the thread is m10-1.5 In short, the quality is sound considering the price. (Keep in mind different colors can have significant price difference)

Good product. Here's what I wish I knew first.
Bought this to use at my counter height work bench, used for general business work and creative endeavors. Arrived earlier than expected, which was nice. The item comes well packaged with each piece wrapped in cushioning and packing tape. Includes 5 screws and the very simple directions. In short, you assemble the seat and seat back, then stack from the bottom up: Base, lift, foot rest, seat. That's it. 15 minutes, of that. I read a lot of the reviews and had some concern about the materials. I don't see the reason for concern. The seat is plastic, but is a a nice heavy weight material that I don't see cracking unless I did something stupid. As for weight, I'm around 190 lbs and 5'8". The rest of it is sturdy chromed steel which fit together well and feels solid. I like the glide feet as opposed to casters, since it stays where I am and doesn't try to get coffee while I'm working. The backrest isn't something I would try to crack my back on, and I would be cautious leaning back too far as you might topple backwards, but it is solid enough to be there when you want it. Not a whole lot of complaints, but here's what I think. I don't have much of a caboose, and the seat is a bit narrow for me. Not uncomfortable or worth returning over, but a bit snug. Perhaps when I get around to doing some squats it will be a little better. I'll let you know probably never. The foot rest is nice and sturdy enough for something that is held in place by friction and gravity, but I really wish it went up and down with the seat or was adjustable. It's fine at the highest setting, which I don't need, and just a bit annoying at the height I need as my knees hover around 1/2 an inch below my keyboard tray. That's about it. Would I buy it again? Based on assembly, price, and the 15 minutes I've been using it? Probably. But time will tell. If you don't hear back from me it means everything is fine. I'll update if it falls apart or stops working.

Good chair but has a few drawbacks
First - the best things about this chair: -The smooth texture makes it very easy to get in and out of, while the shape of the chair prevents you from slipping out -The yellow-orange color I got is almost spot-on, and looks awesome with the desk I bought. -I was extremely impressed by the size of the shipping box. The dimensions of the foot rest are basically the height/width dimensions of the box. -The chair is impressively lightweight, an average person should have no problem picking up this chair with one hand despite it being metal (although, don't try to grab it by the backrest!) -The height adjustment of the chair is almost unheard of. I couldn't find another chair under $400 with the same 10" travel. -The pneumatic cylinder is very well built and doesn't wobble at maximum height. This might change over time but it feels rock solid. Ok, and now for some things I was less happy about: -The chair legs came wrapped in paper & plastic that was caught in the chair base between the metal pieces. It was very hard to remove to my satisfaction. -The chair is not actually yellow-orange PLASTIC, it is yellow-orange PAINT. An important distinction. There are areas on the bottom and back of the backrest where you can see the very dark, possibly black plastic underneath. If you happen to scrape through the paint, you're going to see an ugly black scratch. -The footrest doesn't actually attach to the chair, but is floating on a wide section of the pneumatic cylinder. It slips if you try to stand on it to raise the chair height, forcing you to get off the chair to raise it. -The so called nylon slide pads on the bottom of the chair don't seem to do anything but stick to my carpet. I pretty much have to lift the chair off the ground to move it. The pads even have a rough texture on them. -The backrest is largely useless. I would recommend the backless version unless you like the look of it. Not only do the rods flex when you lean back with any amount of force, but the shape of the chair and position of the backrest means your back is coming into it at an angle. If you try to put weight on the backrest, you basically slide out the front of the chair in response. The backrest needs to be brought forward about 2-3", but there is no adjustment I can do by hand. Also, as I mentioned earlier, the plastic piece pops right off if you lift with any amount of force. All in all, it's a very cost effective chair. Don't expect to use this chair like an office chair, because it feels designed more for task work. But it does it's job just fine for my purposes. Update: A few taps with a rubber mallet and the backrest doesn't come off anymore.

Stylish and at a great price
Like the style, learnt to drive on a Massey Ferguson 35 (was very young at the time) so brings back memories. Not a lot of back support but okay for my occasional use in the office. Great price and easily assembled.

Surprisingly Comfortable!
This blue drafting chair is not very high but it’s very comfortable despite being moulded plastic. It’s very easy to clean and great for kids however I do use it as well sometimes it is VERY comfortable.

A great chair for sit/stand setups
Overview I was getting some heel pain from my standing setup and decided to sit part of the time, so I bought this drafting chair. I am 5'7", so the height adjustability of this chair is great (but I can't speak for taller people). For me, it can go as low as a normal chair to bar stool height. I chose this chair over padded chairs because I find the padding flattens/sags over time. I figured I could just get a seat pad if it was an issue. This chair ended up being surprisingly comfortable. I don't get any butt pain when sitting on the chair for a full working day. The Good Parts * Tractor style seat is quite comfortable * Has a back (you don't have to install it if you don't want to) * Has a foot rest (you don't have to install it if you don't want to) * Has slider feet with indentations for Feltac - you should be able to use standard casters with this chair if you want them * Easy to assemble - takes about 10-15 minutes depending on how handy you are * Well made, feels solid * Good seat height range (approximately 20-30") * Comes in a variety of colours * Well priced for what you get Some People May Not Like * Doesn't come with casters * No arms * Back is not adjustable * Foot rest is not adjustable * Not padded * At its maximum height, might not be a good idea to lean back on it

Loved the height adjustment
Loved the height adjustment. Works at the vanity, then can be used at my island (counter height). However if you are looking for a robust chair, then it is probably not for you. Great price for this chair if you don't care about the color.
