Expensive looking on a budget

These planters arrived and I was very happy after unboxing and setting them out I have yet to put my plants in them however they are very attractive and look very nice

I ordered 2 of these planters and only received one. I did not initiate a return of this item.

I like the item I received but am disappointed to have had one of my items intercepted and returned for some reason without my knowledge.

Edit - Warps in the sun, but goes back to normal

Edit: I went on Mayne's page and read tips. After cleaning out the planter, I let it dry in the sun. The bulges went away. I drilled new holes in the bottom of the planter and am using it without the self-watering feature. Lessons learned. This is a good priced planter and I was pleased when I first got it. I filled the base with water and drilled a small hole for drainage like the instructions stated. My flowers never grew long enough roots to reach the water at the bottom, so I was having to regularly water my flowers. Now we're in July and the smell coming from the bottom of the planter was horrendous. I had to tip the whole thing upside down and drain the swamp that accumulated on the bottom. The insert has warped and the base of the planter bubbled. Once it dries out, I'm going to drill holes at the bottom of the planter and just insert a pre-potted plant at the top.

Beautiful planter BUT…

I bought two of these to frame the front door. Spent over $200 in plants and went to work. I decided to use the self-watering feature and dutifully drilled the holes. Then, I filled with water, put in the dirt, and planted. Voila! Beautiful! A week later, I noticed the plants were not as evident in one of the planters. On closer inspection, I saw that the plants were sinking into watery muddy soil! The sides of the planter bowed out (they’re just made of plastic) and allowed the tray to slip down into the water. The soil dumped into the watering section and my plant roots were sinking into muddy water. Cleaning the mess was not fun. I jury-rigged a support frame for the soil tray (it wouldn’t snap into place in the bowed out sides), did NOT fill the bottom with water, and am attempting to salvage my plants in new soil. In fairness, the other planter seems to be fine. For now…

Love. Look great.

These look great. They have a tray in the center you can use if you want to put rocks in the bottom to keep it from blowing over in the wind. Hoping they hold up through the winter as well as they have so far.
