Not completely happy
I have bought this item before. This time when I opened the Amazon box I immediately thought this was a used item. Upon opening the box for the filter the hepa filter bag was opened. I should have taken pictures. My husband was like it doesn’t look used, use it anyway. I did. So far no problems. But if I’m paying for a new unused item I expect to get that. I have severe asthma and allergies. My concern is what if someone used it in their home even for a brief time and they had a cat or dog that wasn’t hypo allergenic. Just feel duped at this point. That is the reason for knocking off a star. If it’s been opened then I think it should be described and let the consumer decide if they want it!!

arn to be very gently when installing. I would start with one sides edges first. Get them in place
tried all kinds of filters. These aren't the best filters you can buy, but Let me tell you, for money, they work great. A friend in the industry told me to stop buying those ridiculously expensive filters and buy cheap ones and replace them often. So after three months of using them, I found that they performed as well as similar brands I could buy at the big box store. I like it very much. I found something I like online, so I can order it directly from Amazon. I think it's a great value - they cost more than those - and a great job to do. I still use the hairdryer at home. 24/7. I do this because it's better to keep the balance of the house. Winter and summer. There is a big debate about whether to leave your fan on or on. You can read that debate and decide for yourself that it's worth it. But you know, I use these filters 24 hours a day. I think they're fantastic.

Factory replacement for filters, easy to change. May look for another brand that may be a less expensive.

Worth it.
The machine itself is pricey. However, after buying it i realize how much money i wasted on cheaper filters. The filter replacements aren't expensive and keep the machine working like new.

Filters Fit & Work Great But Wish They Were Packaged Better
These replacements filters fit great in my Winix and are doing a super job of filtering my air. The only negative is the packaging is very lightweight cardboard and if delivered on a rainy day, the box is ruined. However, the filters are packaged inside in plastic wrap so they are good. If you are planning on using your filters right away this would not be an issue but if you are planning on keeping one in hand for when you need it, it is harder to store making sure it is not damaged without a protective cardboard box as the filters are flexible.

you wouldn't believe how much crap you pull from your space
Expensive, IMO, when compared to my two other purifiers, but it does work. Mine got so clogged that it suddenly started making a high pitched air noise as the cleaner was struggling to move air through it. That's when I finally noticed the filter light was on. Adult house, no kids, no pets, you wouldn't believe how much crap you pull from your space!

Works on Winx U450, P450, & Electrolux ELAP40D8PW. The carbon filter installs easier with the fan running, creating suction.
This works well for the Winx U450, P450, and the Electrolux ELAP40D8PW. I did however notice that the carbon filter is just slightly too large, but if you put it in while the fain is running on high (the Winx U450 & Electrolux ELAP40D8PW will run with the panel off), then the suction makes it easier to install. It makes a nice, tight fit this way. These filters are great. ive used them for a few years now but am having trouble finding them anywhere. luckily I could get them here. they are expensive but they work great. hopefully they keep them in stock for more years to come. Using these in a winix p450
