Well priced, functional, easy to use…
Great price, should be effective for filtering and be easily serviceable. The 3/16” thickness does seem thin (for wall/window AC units) but just need to carefully clean regularly and also clean the fins/coils with a foam-spray — and it’ll improve the performance and efficiency of the AC.

Needed To Cut Into Air Filters For My BedJet - PERFECT FOR THE JOB!
My BedJet II uses a small rectangle shaped foam filter (5" x 10" x 3/16") that catches dust, lint, etc. at the air inlet end of the machine (think inflow on a vacuum). The filter that comes on the BedJet is a simple thin piece of foam that's hand washable or can be gently cleaned with a vacuum. It's a really cheap filter, it's just a piece of foam that doesn't have a frame or anything like that. (Since this functioned as a light duty filter, a foam filter with rigid frame would have been overkill. I first searched the BedJet company website, didn't see anywhere on the site that the Company sold the filters. (Probably no money in selling 10 cent pieces of foam.) So since it was a pathetically simple filter I decided to fabricate my own. Ordered this foam sheet based on it being 3/16" thick; the BedJet one measured about the same thickness. Warning: Compared to the foam filter on the BedJet, this foam is NOT as dense. Will that matter, i.e., is this foam less protective? I dunno. I'm going to keep an eye on how much dirt, lint, or other debris (e.g., the lint from flannel bed sheets) this filter catches compared to the "heartier" BedJet stock filter. If it's not working as well, I will need to search for another foam/filter solution. The foam arrived, I quickly used the existing filter as a template to form the filter. Tools were a pair of full sized scissors for the long cuts, and manicurist scissors for the small cuts. A few snip snip snips, I was all done. At the moment of truth if fit perfect and the machine works great. With one sheet I can make four filters. Can't beat that price point, $1.50 each total cost. (My labor is free.) So subject to the density issue, if you need to make a homemade filter, if this is the thickness and dimensions you need I highly recommend the product. Between me and my family we have four BedJets. So I'll be ordering more sheets so I don't have to think about making filters for a long time. And at this price point I will buy some extra sheets because one can never have enough filter foam for cutting to shape and size and placing it on or in any device that sucks in air.

Good Product, False Delivery Claim...
Product is good, I've used it before to make speaker and pc fan filters. My complaint is about the delivery comment made by the driver, saying item was handed directly to a resident. This was not true. I was not handed the product. I checked the web to see if it was delivered.. it said it was. I opened the door and found it on the mat in front of the door. So Amazon needs to speak to the driver... nothing ticks me off like someone making a false statement.... there is nothing wrong with stating it was left by the door! Overall I am happy with my deliveries. Only once before did I have a problem where driver left the package on the wrong floor when the apartment number was clearly shown on delivery label and online. Most delivery drivers are great and do a terrific job. A few drivers need to pay more attention to the address details, and leave correct comments.

A few bucks to make a very expensive filter last longer
This filter material isn't very easy to clean, as it gets pretty clogged up after a while, and the filtered materials don't easily vacuum or wash out, but these do add a large amount of lifetime to filters that are prohibitively expensive otherwise. These are a little pricey to be disposable, but save enough money to make them an automatic "YES" addition to a filter. Make sure you're ready with some scissors to size them to your application.

Pricey, but hard to find!
Perfect thickness. Even though your AC has a built in filter, they stink!! Rely on them alone and you will have damaged fins, which will ruin your unit. I put these foam filters on the fins so I have double filtration. I usually get ten years out of my units. Only negative is the price is somewhat high and these are harder and harder to find. Not many people properly maintain their ac units every few weeks in the summer, but these filters are a major step in doing so. Take the entire grill off as well and clean it under a pressure washer to eliminate mold completely , just be gentle! Use water only

I used this as part of a PC case mod!
I make my PCs from parts I buy. My most recent PC case came with motherboard card filters that let in way too much dust. So I first bought some finer mesh ones. And then I bought this air conditioner filter, a great compromise between trapping dust and letting air flow through. Then I cut pieces of the AC filter to slightly larger than the new finer mesh motherboard card filters I bought and replaced the old motherboard card filters with the new fine mesh ones that I first covered with the cut pieces of AC filter. They're a highly breathable dust trap! I also cut pieces to cover my front intake fans and filled in areas around cords and open areas where dust comes in. I further used cut AC filter pieces as a pre-filter to the external air intakes. That should keep the inside much more dust free while negligibly reducing airflow.

Works Great on my Gaming Rig
I've been having a serious issue with dust buildup in my computer, & around the house in general. We already have air purifiers around the house, however I figured why not turn my gaming rig into a dust filter too. Heck, it already moves a ton of air with its fans & its on all the time. As you can see in the photos, this filter material grabs a lot of dust. That is about 1 week worth of dust buildup. It's definitely not grabbing everything, but it is a very noticeable improvement inside the computer. There is something very satisfying about seeing all of that dirt it's picking up. =) As a side note, the filter did not seem to significantly affect my cpu temperatures. I am still getting 25-35C while idle, & 50-58C while playing World of Warships. That's about the same as before, although I turned up the fan speed to help compensate. (i7 4770k with Corsair H50 cooler & Antec 900 case)

HEPA filters savers!!!!
I use these filters by adding them to existing HEPA filters. I just cut the right size. This way, the HEPA filter doesn't get clogged with large size particles/dust and can continue to filter small particles (which is why they cost so much). With these Frost King filters taped/straped on top, the life time of my HEPA filters has quadrupled at least. They were clogged after 2-3 months and now after 6 months, they are still sucking a good amount of air. Of course I clean the Frost King filters once a month to keep a good air flow. Would highly recommend to filter any dust and large particles.

Yes this product is great for any air con
Yes this product is great for any air con. Remember this is a MERV 1- 4 rating that filters dust and pollen and animals fur. This is not 100% the best in air filtering but the UP side to this filter is it filters the air going through air con while allowing a greater volume of clean air thru and trapping some airborne particles. If you went for a higher MERV rating filter that does better filtering than this that would be a great idea but the DOWN side is that such filters restrict a lot of air volume flowing thru the air con because filter has to trap more tiny objects effectively thereby making your air con motor to over work and over heat resulting in either a break down or highigher electric bills. So please be mindful. For me, I prefer this one it is far better than the original filter that came with air con. I' ve spent £500 for my portable air con and not to allow simple thing like filter damage it or lead to higher electric bills. You should always strike a balance between air quality and and machine over load or air volume restriction. Good luck family.

Great price, fast delivery!
I use this for my air conditioner and a window fan. There’s enough material for 2 seasons.

Good for pet dryers too!
I know this is intended for an air conditioner, but in my case that's not what I bought it for. I have a large dryer at home designed for use with dogs (it looks like a giant hairdryer on a stand but is much more powerful) and on the back of this was a round air intake protected by a circular sponge filter about 9cm in diameter. The replacement filters are both difficult to get hold of and, more particularly, ridiculously expensive for a bit of foam. So I bought this and am now in the process of cutting out lots of discs to make spare filters! It works perfectly well and the sheet is large enough to make so many that it'll last me years!
