Excellent white elephant gift

Value for your money.

Purchased for my friend for his birthday. Arrived on time. Excellent little pocket flask. The compass designg could of been a little bolder but is nicely done. The size is nice as it slips in a pocket easyly. Holds 5 oz so is a good backup or hold out for the good stuff. Decent weight empty and feels both smooth and solid in your hand. 5 stars.

Flask is great! Book...not so much....

The flask is great. Well made and the only flask I could find that had a molecule on the front that was related to alcohol. This one is vanillin, found in bourbon. I thought that was more appropriate than flasks with the caffeine molecule. The book, however, is a disappointment. It is cute and cleanly made...but the cheap materials make it light and flimsy, no one would ever mistake it for a real book. If you're looking for something kitschy, then this is perfect. Otherwise, buy it for the flask (which is worth the price), then buy an old book and make your own hiding spot.

This flask is great. It holds a full 8 oz which is a generous amount to carry. It's pretty flat so it is easy to hold while pouring, but won't fit into a tiny evening bag. Choose the smaller size if that's what you carry. I would have preferred that it come with a small funnel to fill it with, but that didn't slow me down much, just not as convenient. It seems well made and I expect to have it for a number of years.

It's a great little flask. The price was very reasonable. Seriously though, after I added alcohol it worked like a charm.

Bought as an add-on item. Used it a couple of times now. At home. (Kikkerland 3-Ounce Compass Canteen Flask, Small) Just liked pouring a small little shot in and sipping it like i'm camping. I like the feel of it. and it's just the right size to pour a little 3 ounces of some good quality scotch (or whatever) and swig. it will certainly become part of my travel gear, for thouse special moments when its nice to sip on something that warms you. PRO'S: Feels solid. and its nice and sturdy. Looks stylish, great size for a small stash. Nice and thin CON'S: Small bottom surface so it doesn't balance too well so be careful when you put it down. Cap is small so don't drop it where you may lose it. Hope it lasts long

Terrible quality

The outside of the book is marked with what look like mould spots and the hipflask is all mottled and cloudy, and you can see all the glue on the outside where the top is attached. Would have been fine if it was a joke present for a few pounds, but definitely not worth the price tag - will be going back for a refund.
