Fantastic dress

I live in the south and tend to be active. I have a few versions of this dress in the shorter length, and I love them. Turns out the long version is great as well. Very stylish and excellent for casual outings. I'm 5'5", about 160, 38DD, and consider myself curvy athletic, with a short waist. This dress has a high empire style waist that I wasn't sure I'd like since waists like that tend to make the "girls" look like nuclear nose cones but THIS dress has the opposite effect. It smooths out the girls and accentuates the waist line, while smoothing out the lower body quite well. I love how you can't even see my pooch at all. The fabric is lightweight and cooling, and great for hot summers. I deducted a star because it's about an inch too long for me. I going to have to get it hemmed. I tried walking around in Boston in it one day, and had to switch out to pants instead because I kept tripping.

Chic beachwear

This beach cover up/dress is lovely. Flattering cut, great for covering bum on a hot car seat, and looks great if you cover up to eat at a restaurant or stop in a store. Washes and wears well as this is the 2nd one I bought to have a different color.

Great summer dress for any occasion

This smooth line sheath is the perfect accompaniment to any summer, hot weather occasion. Great as a beach cover up or dress it up for dinner. I wore it to a university graduation held on the first hot day (90+) of the year & felt comfortable all day. Columbia products are well made - just a little pricey if you pay full price.

Great dress!

This dress is flattering and cool enough for the US Gulf Coast in August. I purchased a medium and I LOVE IT. It is very easy to care for. I wash on warm or cool and hang- it's like unlined swimwear, so it dries quickly. If we are going to get really critical, here is everything I can think of: I am 5'8" 140lbs & slender-looking, but with a little extra upper thigh/lower hip fluff. The cut of this dress is fantastic at forgiving that. I have broad shoulders and 36D bust, so the only thing I wish is a little more space in the bust/chest area. The cinch/seam starts at the lower quarter of my bust rather than just under it like other empire cuts. I have the occasional urge to pull it down..... which would then expose the top of my bra--not a good for me. Bottom line, it's still a fantastic, flattering dress, but I am going to order a large to see if it has more bust-space.

perfect for the beach

Very cool and lightweight. Perfect for wearing over swimsuits or on a hot summer evening with a sports bra - no lining in the top. I wear a size 10 bottom and the medium fit fine with plenty of room, but I also have a flat stomach/small bust 36B and the top might be tight for very large tops. If the dress stretches out too far the color gets lighter on the fabric and sort of see through. If you are shorter that 5'5 I think it would be too long with flats.

Very nice bright colour but..

Overall true size fit but the top bra section stands out , in particular horizontal seam line , that does not look good. I got other colours in in this is the first time like that.

Runs large

I bought this dress as an alternative maternity dress. It’s a nice quality but I think it runs large. I’m usually a size small and I bought a medium to fit over my belly but I should have stuck with the small and it’s very baggy fit even at 6month pregnant. It also very long. I am short 5”1 and currently 154LBS. I will have to get it hemmed.

The dress is not new,original label was removed and it has a big stain. . Returned it for a refund.

I waited impatiently to receive this dress and was so disappointed when it came! The dress was not new, the original labels were removed and it had a big stain on it. It smelled terrible with somebody's cheap perfume. What a shame that I have had to return it for a refund!!!!

Best Travel Dress Ever

Love this dress! So comfortable! Never wrinkles. Light weight and stretchy, this dress dries on a hanger in an out 1/2 hour.
