Comfortable loose fit
This a lightweight fleece hoodie. It's flocked on the inside otherwise, I'd call this a long sleeved tee. It's a beautiful color - a bright royal blue. The hood can be tightened by pulling on the drawstring and it has a comfy kangaroo pocket. My husband is modeling size XL. He normally wears a large but they're often too tight across his chest (6'2, 235 lbs, muscular). This is a comfortable fit and will allow him to wear a tee shirt underneath it once it gets cooler. This is great for any outdoor activities.

Great fit
I read lots of previous reviews- missy oak must have changed the fit. I am 6’ 185 medium build and the large fits exactly how I would want a hoody to fit. No complaints about a baggy upper like others have side. The fabric is very comfortable. This is a lightweight hoody. Room to layer underneath but perfect for lounging and fall weather. I would definitely encourage the purchase.

Wider fit on top
This mossy oak hoodie is lightweight and nice quality. I noticed they call it a workout hoodie and I’m guessing that has something to do with the slightly weir fit and the lightweight T-shirt like material. Typically would wear a large but for some reason I got a medium because I was expecting it to be loose fitting - which it is on top. The waist is pretty snug and then it tapers wide to the shoulders. It’s like an oversized hoodie and my thought process is that maybe it’s so it’s a little breathable while working out and not against the skin the whole time. Overall though I really like it for spring time. I go on jogs wearing it when it’s too cold to wear just a T-shirt and it’s comfortable and I’m still able to roll up the sleeves if I need to. Mossy oak has always been a great adventure brand and this hoodie isn’t any different

Mostly great
My only complaints are that the material pills up, especially where you rub a lot during the day and it's super annoying and looks a lot older than it is already. It's also very 'rigid' for a hoodie, which is super strange. The bottom does not have ANY give/stretch and it's kinda confusing and I don't like it. Thankfully, it fits perfectly and it snot too tight at the hips or otherwise it would not fit. It's warm and the inside material is nice and cozy. Overall, it's a great hoodie, if not a little overpriced.

Not warm and fleecy
I ordered the “pavement’ color of this Mossy Oak sweatshirt for my 16-year-old son. It’s a medium charcoal gray color (not as dark as I envisioned it would be by the listing picture, but that’s fine, just know it isn’t towards the black end of gray). My son generally wears a men’s size small in tops but I ordered this as a medium so that he could wear it over other shirts. We probably should have stuck with a small - it runs a little large on its own so I didn’t need to size up, especially in the chest. This sweatshirt is on the longer side and goes down a little past his natural waist (he’s 5’ 10”). The hoodie seems to be a lot smaller in the waist than anywhere else. This is made out of 50% polyester, 25% cotton, and 25% rayon. The tri-blend material is very lightweight (much lighter than expected) and soft. The sweatshirt is kind of thin and not something to wear in the coldest weather. It reminds me more of a heavy t-shirt than of a sweatshirt to be honest. The material is breathable (he doesn’t get sweaty in it). It hasn’t faded or shrank in the wash. There are a few things that bug me about the styling of this sweatshirt First, the lace on the hoodie is a completely different color (almost a brown) - odd. Also, although there is no huge company logo on the chest, there are an overabundance of weirdly placed ones. A normal logo spot is on the kangaroo pocket, and the one here is red and black. Ok, fine. But there’s two others - a plasticky logo on right shoulder and larger plasticky logo on left upper arm that I’m not in love with. There aren’t any missed stitches or other problems with construction. My son will probably wear this by itself (without anything underneath on fall days and with a shirt under in the winter). It’s listing says it is classified as a workout sweatshirt but unless you’re hiking or I the fall or spring, this wouldn’t be a good choice of garments. Not his favorite hoodie ever (he likes the super fleecy heavier ones) but it will be a fine garment to wear to school at this price point.

Very comfortable and a little loose
This is the first thing I've ever had from Mossy Oak, so I was really curious about the fit and especially the quality. FIT I agree with another reviewer about the somewhat unusual fit of this sweatshirt. It's got a normal fit around the waist, but then gets surprisingly roomy up toward the shoulders. I tried to show this in the photos, but I'm not sure it's clear. I'm actually surprised it doesn't *look* more baggy in the photos, because it feels quite loose in the upper body. COMFORT The material is super soft on the inside, so it feels really good on your skin. The unusual fit mentioned above feels a little strange, but it's not a deal-breaker for me. I will definitely continue to wear this. COLOR My photo was taken in yellow-ish light, so it's not a good reflection of the real color. The product photo gets it pretty close to perfect. For me, this is exactly what I expect from a color called "Cardinal". QUALITY The jury is still out on quality. The fabric is on the thin side, which is fine as long as it holds up. The stitching seems good enough too. I would put this on roughly the same level as Eddie Bauer — a set up from Old Navy and a step down from something like The North Face. But time will tell how well this sweatshirt holds up. I hope this review was helpful for you!
