Made a great ergonomic difference
I purchased my Fellowes Professional Series Back Support through the Amazon Warehouse (used-like new condition) to save a few bucks. It installed quickly on myHon Ignition Task Chair, Black , which while a supportive, comfortable office chair - isn't the best on my back for long computer sessions. Playing with the placement of the back support straps and then cinching them into position takes a little time, and with this chair the fit isn't ideal, but truly I think it can be adapted to fit most office chairs assuming they are not 'manager or executive' types with extra tall or wide backs. Very little info comes with this item, but the best fit is achieved by moving it around until you feel comfortable. For me, that means the top-center cushion sits between my shoulder blades, about at 'bra strap level'. (Sorry... not sure how to put that any other way!) The lumbar support placed right in the small of my back above my hips pretty much gives me a perfect fit. POINT TO CONSIDER BEFORE PURCHASING: I'm 5'6" and of average weight. I think this product would be a good one for most people 5'4" - 5'8", but taller or shorter folks may not find the fit to be as good. There is no way to increase or diminish the space between the two padded areas. The pads can be removed from each section of the back support, and the cover (with straps attached) can be hand washed or machine washed on low. I am pleased I decided to purchase this product for added comfort while spending extended hours at my desk. It provides me with support for a more comfortable spine alignment, which in turn removed the need for me to get a lift for my feet for proper ergonomics. Nice design, well made, feels good (not too hard or too soft) and will fit different sizes of office chairs via easy strap adjustments. I recommend it!

good lower back support. As to my middle back - not so much
This is intended to help people with their back problems. It is the first seat back cushion that looked like it could help with my particular back issues. This definitely makes a difference for my lower back. It is not perfect because I need some more support even higher - in my mid-back up to between my shoulder blades. It arrived on time and in good condition. It was relatively easy to install on my chair but getting it properly adjusted required multiple re-tries. Expect it to move around on your chair sometimes as you sit and get up. The device slides around more than I like while on my chair, getting out of alignment often. I expect the straps to last 2-3 years then require replacement of the device. There is no way to deal with stretched-out elastic.

It's a miracle! I can finally get back to work at my desk
I'm suffering from a lower lumbar injury and have been experiencing chronic pain for 10 months and it has gotten to a point that it's close to unbearable. I lose at least 3 hrs of sleep per night rolling around trying to get out of pain. I'm on a deadline to complete a work project and I've hardly been able to work at my desk. When this product arrived, I had been sitting at my desk for at least 6hrs straight and was coming into a lot of pain. I could hardly hold myself up. I unwrapped it immediately and put it on my chair, so easy and seems like it would fit any chair. Sat down and WOW! What a difference! The way that it aligned my posture and brought me into a position that is comfortable for working. None of the other similar products had an upper back cushion as well or the top strap to hold her up.. This is really helping to get my shoulders back. The cushion is such a nice spoungyness to lean back on and this completely rearranged my posture. You can adjust it higher or lower for your needs and no need to readjust it constantly from slipping around because the strap goes over the top as well as around the back and holds it in place. This product is well made, looks visually pleasing, seems it might be washable as it has some zippers on the cushions, is very functional and so I will also say that it's a good price for an item that's gonna save my back and help me get back to work so I'm not out of house and home soon. Do not hesitate to buy this product or think of ordering any other. Just look no further, seriously. I don't write reviews but I read tons of them before making a purchase and I want you to get out of pain too. Good luck!

Attention USPS drivers: Will fit in LLV's
June 1, 2018: Almost 3 years later, I need to re-order. And, not because the product gave out. Put my support in a spare LLV while mine was in service, and they took back the spare along with my support. The straps were a bit stretch out, but amazed that they held at all points. So, off to order another! BTW, the paddings are zippered in, so you can wash when it gets a bit funky. June 6, 2015: I typically do not leave many reviews, but wanted to for any postal carriers out there. I have 3 bad thoracic (mid back) discs and this provides much needed support. Anyone who drives a LLV knows how incredibly poor the ergonomic design is for our driver seats. I've looked into numerous back supports and they are either too deep and leave little room for your posterior to seat comfortably or they are too flimsy to hold up to numerous dismounts throughout the day. The 3 point harness keeps the support in place fairly well. The only problem is that our seats have the integrated headrest that essentially makes the seat super tall (like a high back Executive chair). This causes the support to ride up on occasion. A few times throughout the day I have to readjust and push the support back down. A minor inconvenience considering the relief I get from having it. I'm no longer hunched over all day. I can sit up straight with support and my shoulders have room to roll back. By far, one of the best investments I have made recently. If you add up all the hours spent driving and put a price tag on being more comfortable during that time, how much would you pay?

This really makes a difference!!
It will take a bit of fitting on higher-back chairs, but it's well worth the effort. I've tried several different supports, and this one is way and above all others. Yes, it's very firm, but has done wonders for my shoulder and neck pain, and in helping me to keep a good posture. Great value, and definitely worth a try.

Pretty great!
I’m somewhat ashamed to admit that I purchased this thinking it was a chair. But once I put it on the not-so-great chair I was using, it was never going to be returned. It’s very good and helped with my sore back. It’s quite adjustable and I think will fit on a good variety of chairs.

It isn't supportive? Whoever made this product has little experience with lumbar pain/injury
My pillow is thicker, firmer, and provides more support than this product. I suffer from lumbar pain as a result of 2 herniated discs, and was therefore looking for a product that protrudes out of the bottom of the seat to ensure my back was always either straight or hyper extended, so that it couldn't flex at any point. This product doesn't help with any of those things, nor is it comfortable.

Is brilliant for my back.
Arrived very quickly, easy to fit onto typing chair. Is brilliant for my back. Very comfortable and no lower back pain since I've been using it. Would highly recommend. Wish I had bought one of these years ago, as do a lot of typing and back pain was blighting my life. Thank you so much.
